Fri:
No new mouse last night.
Tried to figure out my epub issues. I can't really do it from here, I need to be home so I can more easily load it onto the device and see if what I'm doing helps.
Wrote the next chapter. Still not 100% sure of the direction, we're moving fast. I did come up with plot notes so this track does look promising. I guess I'll keep turning left for a bit, because if you keep turning left, well, then you just might have a chance to win.
Did actually get the D7.8. Loaded it on two machines. It wasn't a build that much older than the previous ones, really.
I did the NTLM test, I logged in with a prox card, I logged in with a smart card. I made sure the stupid, useless, challenge password was still there. All stuff I've tested almost a dozen times now. Yup, still there. Still works. Can we please ship this software now? Be done with it? Finally? Hello?

Got a sort of haul. A salad, but enough food for the next week anyway. Whew, I only had 1 thing left. Okay, okay, I still have plenty from the cleaning day I brought home but it's weird how much it's dropped off.

Did the shopping, saw my parents.

Came back, game was a bit late. Picked up where we left off, down the well and such vision of the past, you know normal stuff. We beat up a baby ghost and did some rituals to close a dark portal to the spirit realm. As one does. I should write up an invoice and charge the place. Really, do they think we're risking our lives down their stupid, dried up well for free? Sets a bad precedent, let me tell you.

Stopped at 10:00, Sean wanted to do writing because he can only write in November for some reason? Sure. I went to bed.

Sat:
Ordered a few things, some christmas things, yes.
Did some cleaning, parents are coming later.
Worked on the book. Figured out why the text was white sometimes and black sometimes. It doesn't like "auto" so I set it to white deliberately. I think it's done! On to book two. Also broke up some of the longer boxes into multiple boxes. My kindle didn't like doing that automatically and I figure it's a fairly old device, if it can display correctly there it should work anywhere, right?
Worked on the book two stuff. Notes, character sheets, plot points, that sort of thing. Giving everyone their XP, you know, that stuff.
Added a background to the optional rules, as it's in the story now
Parents came over.
Then did some xbox.

Sun:
Stayed in bed much later than usual, and not even because of the time change.
Raked the leaves. They were dry enough, and I only did the back. The front has one tree all the way down and one tree hardly begun. So I would just have to do it again. And there isn't really a lot in the front if I'm being honest. I am, by the way. Naturally the back will have to be done at least twice more before we're done.
Had lunch.
Put out the christmas lights. Yes, it was sunny and nice, what did you want me to wait a month until it's colder and nastier out? No thank you.
Wrapped Neil's gift.
Did my Sunday readings. Got ready for tomorrow. No calls over the weekend. No Xbox. In bed on time.

Mon:
Took the mouse to their new home. Good luck little one! It wasn't too bad today so hopefully a nice warm burrow can be found.
No work stuff really. The backend stuff Gina was talking about didn't get done, and even if it was, this product has shipped. If the people using it break the back end that's on them. They need to fix it. It's out of our hands. So why would I test it?

Proofed the last book some more. Found one error and reflowed the text a little in one box. That's all.

Worked on the next book, no writing just notes and getting Olaph set with spells and such.

Gave salads to my mother, 2 of them, that's all I got today as a haul. Came back here.

Did a cat walk. Much darker now earlier. Kitty won't like that, any delay in getting home means no walk!

Checked sites, ate dinner. One call, just a lady getting spam email. Erase them, that's what you do with them! Like, really?

Did Xbox after all.

Tues:
Went to vote. Some candidates run unopposed? That's... not ideal? And how can some run as both democrat and republican? Doesn't make sense to me.

Went to work, finished up Olaph (I think.)

Went out to bring the car in. Whoops! So sorry, you need the battery to be below 80%. What? The software can't account for that? Just let it discharge the first time even if plugged in? What sense does this make? Oh, and thanks for telling this before I made it there, like, when I made the appointment? Or it could have been in the letter I got? No? Too much work? Okay. Just wasting my time, it's fine.

Back to work. Worked on notes.

Had an afternoon meeting, and no haul. Stayed a little late.

Did a kitty walk.

The event I've been waiting months (a year?) for is finally in warframe again. I can get my weapon powered up at last to it's full potential. Must do so.

Got ready for tomorrow. One call about email.

Power went nuts in the house. Half of rooms didn't have power, half did. The living room lights were flickering. No breakers tripped. I was running around trying to get stuff turned off and broke the HDMI cable to the Mac. The long one, of course. Have to order a new one. Then suddenly everything just started working again. What? So that wasted a half hour I could have been getting xbox stuff. Thanks!

Did xbox stuff with the others, got the part I wanted from the event. At least my part is upgraded to the second level now. 200% damage!

Wed:
One small thing at work today, just looking at the canada kiosk product. Adnan was asking about network connections so I came over to take a look. It wasn't an issue, just the fact it didn't show the IP address on the screen for the IP address. You know.

Otherwise just more notes for the story and reading another person's story! So lazy!

Went to keyboard lady, put the keyboard on. Hopefully that solves it.

Did a kitty walk, nasty out but it wasn't snowing yet! More leaves down now, looks like I didn't rake at all and there are plenty more where that come from.

Checked sites, ate dinner.

Found a fuse for my subwoofer. And it looks like part of the house lost power again? What? Some clocks were blinking, but not all clocks. What the heck is happening here?

Fuse works, don't need a new subwoofer.

Got ready for tomorrow.

Thurs:
No work today but got a task for next week. Some D8.0 stuff is ready, so I get to test a bunch of things I've already tested into the ground. Yay for me. Though I did get another task which I looked at. Something about our machines not sending data correctly? I think my device has the right firmware but it doesn't have the feature we implemented in that firmware so I could be wrong? So it may not be the right test yet.

Worked on plot a little. Got a few things in the trash, not much but enough to bring my parents a few things.

Oh right, brought the car in. Took about 1.5 hours, no big deal and it was returned to me. No messages yet about my batteries catching fire.

Stayed late, reading, and came home.

Did a very dark kitty walk in the cold, and checked sites, ate dinner.
Got the HDMI cable replacement. Works fine. Anyone want a very broken, really long HDMI cable?

Got another 3 of the part for my weapon and combined them. I'll need to do the mission 20 more times to max it out. Not sure if it's worth it.

So tomorrow, a day off. Not sure what I'll do. But you can read all about it next week, so come back then.

I will do the usual things of seeing my parents and shopping. I have a 20% off coupon for cat food so I'll pick up a bag of that.
No game. Sean is preparing his Saturday thing.

Weekend? Leaves maybe. Have my parents over. More plot writing? I wonder if I want to bring a romantic plotline into it? Hummm. They say write what you know!!!!!
