One job for today required a hard drive. I was to replace hers with said hard drive. When I was about to go to this appointment, I realized I did not have said hard drive. I went home to look for said hard drive. (hereon SHD) I did not find SHD. I had to call her and cancel because it had turned into air. My only thought was I had set it atop the car and gone to get Squeaker, then forgot it again and it slid off? But going to put my laundry away I found it in the basket, which I had used to carry the dang thing up from downstairs in along with all the other junk and it just fell down and I forgot all about it. So at least I'm not out like a hundred bucks. 

 

Grandma showed negative improvement today, not sure how she can be so lucid one day and so out of it the next. Weird.

 

No response from cupid girl, I fear there won't be, because I am... well, me, I guess. I figure I'll give her until thursday, try her one last time, as she did mention she was bad about getting back to people, and if nothing by saturday when I'm free, shrug and erase her from my memories. Like Agatha Christy, who I don't remember because I've just erased her from my smegging memories!

 

Much work done today, got a system here done instead of the SHD lady. Also changed a power supply, hooked up a Win98 machine in place of a very dead HP for an amazingly large woman, and reloaded vista home basic over home premium because people have no clue what they're doing.

 

The likes of which I'm sure to see tomorrow as well. Another full day, though all my calls today were just "I have a question" type so apart from rescheduling the one, I didn't get anything new. Which is fine, as I have tomorrow booked solid and now part of thursday. I still have to get a router to the prison outreach people, get the ice cream people their stuff, and get over to the mortgage place. Seesh. That's enough work for the rest of the week, thank you very much.
