2017-04-28:

But don't worry, it'll rain again tomorrow.

Fri:
Another great day at work. A few more minor bugs written. Links that don't go anywhere, typos, that sort of thing.

Chris got the printer working, he had actually reversed some things in his own set of directions, so figure that one out. He had this pointed out to him by another.

But his test was positive, in the sense that it was negative. You had to be there.

Left and went shopping. Then over to my parent's house.

Back here I checked my sites and, having come up with a hilarious start for chapter 16 wrote that up. So funny.

Blazed through the MLP:FIM NES game I got for Christmas. It only took, uh, what month is this? Four months to play it. It was pretty good!

Sat:
Fairly good day. Started with the morning with some good old fashioned playing fallout 4. Is that old fashioned? Moving on.

Ate lunch, checked my sites, straightened up the house.

Went out at 3:00 to see book guy. He had, of course, messed the book up again. I made it a PDF. He was printing it single page instead of double sided. Hey, it's your paper dude. The checkbox for double sided is right there. He complained as usual and I charged him the normal rate. He complained about that. I reminded him I didn't charge him AT ALL last time so really, he got both for $25. Moron.

Finished chapter 16 of Out of the Flood and played some Final Fantasy 3. Made some notes.

Watched one episode of Slayers. Did NOT call dentist guy back, who wants some samsung thing looked at or something? His message was not clear. He was like, oh, maybe you can do five today? Or tomorrow? You know as well as I do that's not how it works dude.

Sun:
Such a great lazy day! I only did two chapters of Out of the Flood, 17 and 18, and played final fantasy 3 a bunch. (love the fast forward feature) Oh, and I made a pie. Couldn't partake of pie, because I didn't want to take my trays out and brush my teeth for the forth time that day, but tomorrow? Oh yes, there will be pie.

No calls but I called dentist guy. Who has a meeting at 7:30 on a Sunday? Maybe with India, isn't it monday already there? Who knows. But he was someplace, a meeting not in meatspace could be done from the comfort of your own home, via skype.

Nice today, sunny.

Mon:
What's this, more actual work at work? Yes, yes indeed Jimmy. (Your name is Jimmy, right?) I figured I would do the cloning stuff over again and found a new bug. Not a crapy one that's just a typo or anything, no, but an actual bug.

If you turn an option off, cloning a certain way fails. But turn the option back on, and poof, it works again. Sillies.

Otherwise not much.

Went to see dentist guy. Made him favorites on his chromebook. Apparently he wants to open his accounts there and then put them into quicken? You know you can go back and forth between programs, right?

Also was convinced the TV remote he handed me was not a TV remote. Finally looked it up, nope, it's a blue ray player remote. Sigh.

Came back here, had pie, checked my sites.

No calls. Got an email and force quit windows live mail for a lady. She said she turned her machine off and back on, but I question this. So nothing for tomorrow.

Played more FF3. I see a divergent story…

Tues:
Getting closer to the move, but still no real excitement. Thursday we'll pack up most of the stuff I guess, and Friday what we use? It's just down the hall, we could just carry a few things.

Wrote up one bug, big deal. Rained.

Came back here, checked my sites, and played more FF3. No calls again, I must have been good.

Put in the last Susan edits and made the PDF of volume 3. It's over! *looks at 20 chapters of new story.* It'll never be over!

Wed:
Our official move day is officially: Monday. Oh. Well, we should start packing everything up tomorrow, which I estimate will take maybe an hour or two? I don't know why he wants us to start so early, Friday afternoon would be more than adequate.

Got sent a list of "bugs" from I think India, which were not bugs. Half of them were the expected way the software was supposed to work, one or two I had already written up, and one was actually legit but not related to AT&T at all. Nice job guys. I did send a message back with "here are all the reasons these are not bugs."

I did write up the one.

Still not very exciting I'm afraid.

Checked my parent's house on the way home, everyone was fine. I'll return in fourteen hours.

Came back here, watched a movie, got ready for tomorrow, and went to bed early. Have to get up at 6:00 to feed the guys over there.

Thurs:
Got up early to feed everybody over there. Actually got to work early too, it didn't take the full hour to feed everybody. Then went to work.

And so the move begins. Put a lot of stuff in boxes, tagged a lot of stuff so they know what to move (like my chair, not giving that up, nach) and went over to clean out the room we are moving into.

Verified a bug or two, poked around, don't think I wrote up anything really.

Had an actual call today, something about wi-fi. Yay. Checked my sites when I got home, had more pie, got ready for tomorrow.

Made an appointment for tomorrow, two PCs with wireless issues. So I'm sure that'll be fun for me.

So looking to the next few days it's going early to feed everybody, then work. Then bank and shopping, which never takes too long, and then to the wi-fi lady.

Saturday I have to update a Mac laptop to a newer OS so she can continue to get Office updates. (rolls eyes) Then make something yummy and go to Sean's.

Sunday at noon I have the moron who bought a Mac, got the wrong one, sent it back, got the right one, sent it back, waited, got another one, tried to set it up himself, failed, sent it back, and has now bought another one. Yes, my head is spinning too, I have no idea what this guy is doing, and apparently, he doesn't either.

Of course I must feed everybody over there on these two days as well.

Should be an interesting weekend.

See you all next week people, I'm about off to bed.
