Yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck That's today's blog entry, just me saying yuck yuck yuck yuck yuck over and over. Can you guess the weather toady? So yesterday I get this call, oh, computer BSOD, she uses it for work, can you come tomorrow, etc, etc. I know for a fact these people have two other computers in the house. But anyway, after my morning one, in which he was 15 minutes late for without so much as an "I'm sorry I'm late" I came back home and figured I could give them exactly an hour if I called them and left right then. And they weren't even there. Guess it was really important then, huh? Oh, and I had pulled out of his driveway and had gotten part way down the street when he comes tootling up, so I could have just kept on going. But no "thanks for turning around" either. Jerk. My 1:00 was just some questions. And a dead external which turned out to be a faulty switch. I got it working and he started copying the data off it. Then to another checkup style encounter. Got out of there at around 4:00 and it was snowing pretty bad by then. My car was clean when I had pulled in, it had like an inch or more when I pulled out. Well, I mean before I brushed it off, obviously. My 5:00 was just down the street. Taking a chance I went over there, and they were home so I got to take care of that and get home while it was still a bit light out. Tricky driving, but that was okay. Chibi Kuruma handled it with a plum, a cheery, any old thing to make us all merry. One for Peter, one for Paul, one for Him & Her who made us all. Little pagan humor there. Eight calls? Are you kidding me? So now I've booked monday and part of tuesday as well. "Oh, I hope you can come tomorrow". Yeah, and I hope to discover I am actually an alien prince, heir to a galactic empire, the most powerful individual in the universe, and have my own harem. But we don't always get what we hope for, now do we? Many people are much better in this regard. "Come when you have some time." I hate people who say "come tomorrow" like I had nothing better to do then wait by the phone for YOUR call so I could come service your machine which is oh-so-important-to-you-so-why-didn't-you-buy-a-Mac-in-the-first-place? ANYWAY. Got the last comic colored and shaded, looks like no game tomorrow, Sean's been busy too? *shock* *horror* and Saturday is a going away party for Ray a guy he knows so no game then either. So I'll probably put the text in tomorrow night leaving Sunday free and clear for sewing! Hope it doesn't snow too much tonight/tomorrow slower traveling is NOT what I would call desirable.
