And part of tuesday, at that. Five calls today, they just keep coming. Number one really didn't have anything wrong, except for using Norton, of course. But she still had more then a year subscription so I left it. Otherwise just updated stuff and made sure it was running fine. Then to go see a guy about a laptop. I suspected hard drive trouble but couldn't get anywhere with it because the utilities wouldn't run, and those that did were too old to see it. I like to show people "here is the issue, it says so right here." You know? So I figured, well, maybe it really is Vista acting up and started the reload. Vista itself had "this hard drive may fail soon" right when I selected the drive to install onto. How about that! So my suspicions were confirmed, I got me message, he gets to have a new hard drive. Another system with low RAM was next. But I didn't have any DDR2 stuff, most DDR2 machines have enough. So I'll have to go back. She got it from someone, so it was all chewed up (and dusty) so all that was taken care of. Ran like crap with only 256 in it though. Went to see mom, get some thread, sewed up the last part of Mizzy's present. Looks good. Got it all together and wrapped, so everything is ready to go over there. Then out for a 4:30, just setting up a new machine and getting some stuff from the older one onto it. Went fine. Came back, ate dinner (quickly). Made calls, Mom's birthday card, wrapped a gift, got ready for tomorrow, sheesh, another two busy days before Sunday? Tomorrow is both a dinner at Grandma's and Sean's, so I'll be out a bit late. Next blog entry, probably Sunday.
