When I checked my calls at 3:45ish I saw I only had the one from this morning. When I got home, I'd had a "call Robert Hour" and had gotten like 6 more. Weird. It's interesting, that more often then not, calls will come in not randomly spaced through the day as one would expect, but within an hour or two of one another, starting at a random time. Like today it was between 4:00 and 5:00. Day before that I got a couple right around 5. Sometimes it's 2:00-3:00. It's very bizarre.
So two for today, plus the dirty, messy task of finishing the cleaning of the upstairs. Number 1 was basically XP flipping out over some printer job, using 99% of the CPU on the Spooler task like the fool that it is. Which only happened in regular mode, of course, leading me to do all kinds of stuff in safe mode thinking the slowness of their machine was due to malware. Nope. Unless you count XP as malware, which I do.
Then over to grandmas. Pulled a million pieces of glass, empty walnuts, scrap wood, and just plain junk down the stairs to the garage, where all the nasty chemicals can foul the place up instead of just gassing the wasps upstairs. Well, it's not that bad, but… Ran out of time just before I could finish the last thing, demolishing the metal shelf that's up there.
Then over to Dr Jay, set up his new laptop, answered his questions, was there for three hours. So actually did, and got paid for, four hours work today. Six if you count the cleaning. Amazing.
Game saturday, though I don't know which one. Could be whip girl or vampire dude, either which would please me greatly to further articulate.
Quite busy day planned tomorrow, four jobs and grandma, so it'll be a little bit of a rush. One for saturday, and at least one being dropped off to look at over the weekend.
Dead Island seems to be popular. Sean bought the last copy in Toys R Us for Mizzy (because you can't play it split screen) but could not find a copy for me, as the places I looked around here were also sold out. Huh.
