Finished up testing D7.7 pre-release. No problems, as expected.
Demo that went on for too long. It was supposed to be a demo of two bug fixes. Easy, right? No. It uncovered another two bugs! Great job fellows.
Reading.
Shopping, bank, parents as normal. Aldi had lemon juice again finally. Is it really that hard to keep in stock? Weird.
Home for game.
We finally made it out of town, with the thing we'll probably destroy next session! It's a scroll with a ritual to basically make Voldemort if we're reading it right. Why would anyone keep that around? So weird. And the ghosts (or whatever they were guarding it we never got a real clear answer on how all these protections were actually put in place) were all like "why do you feel you need this knowledge?" and we were like "to keep it out of evil hands" and they were like "that's not good enough for us!" and we were like "so let us destroy it then we don't care" and they were like "you would destroy knowledge!?" and we were like "it's not doing anyone any good just sitting in this crumbling temple now is it? What's the difference?" and they were all like "how could you?" So bizarre. But yeah, we rushed it away from the place but didn't get to do more than look over the top part of the scroll. If it's really to make Voldemort as we suspect it's getting burned to a crisp. Would have been much easier than putting all those protections in place. What does Sean think we're going to do with such a thing? I mean the AI that made the adventure. The AI> Still, this all means I now I have 69XP (nice) which believe me is a lot. You can master something to the human limit for only 50, given enough time. So that's some sort of frame of reference.

Sat:
Picked berries. Have another whole bag of them so that's 4 bags and still enough for a pie and still some to bag and still a bunch to pick. So I didn't do too badly this year after all.
Yard Work, those vines keep growing. It's not as bad as it was in the spring of course.

Figured out what I wanted to do with my character, I think I have some good ideas for all that XP I have now. I'm actually using an idea from the long story I was reading as similar spells exist, to make a drone of sorts that can hang around, cast defensive spells for me, and show me what it sees. It'll be another bird, so it can scout places out and not be suspicious because it's just a bird, not a drone. I've also discovered what I would only call a loophole in the rules I can use to basically get infinite energy. I would never enact such a policy because Sean's head would explode because there's no way to fix it, apart from just massively changing the rules of the game or the spells, but I will at least use it to power myself when I get low on energy. (basically you can summon a creature that has more energy than yourself, have it use the spell to give someone energy, dismiss it, summon another one, and repeat. As the spell allows you to contain more energy than you normally would, at least for a while, I could have thousands of energy after doing this a few minutes. I normally have 30 some)
Ate lunch.

Played a bit of remake before I left.
Left for game which was, uh, it... yeah. Let's just say it will go a bit differently in the story, and be quite short. I really hoped we could at least start the healing process between the two towns, but some party members that shall remain nameless probably made things worse. So yeah, that happened. It wasn't me, by the way. I stayed out of it. It was... looks at all the other people around the table... Yeah, it was not me. Next game in a month, I guess. We did buy our house, now we get to furnish it which I think I can do mostly with magic.
Watched a bunch of Teen Titans and came home way too late.

Sun:
Last part printed, got that started after waking up far too early. But the usual time. Was it cats wanting breakfast? I don't know, they don't know what time it is to that level of precision, do they? I mean it was 7:00 on the nose that I woke up. Crazy. There was a cat there but there's always a cat. So hard to say.

Reading lots of stories to catch up, now that I finally finished the long one. Which is not even done, by the way. Crazy. Weeks of reading and it's still going on. I thought book 7 would be the end, but no, maybe book 8 will. So it's just in the rotation now. But at least I can stay caught up and it won't take hours like today.
Print looks good, didn't need the new filament at all! Oh well. Still have some left. I'll switch it out for the black and start printing the next thin next week. Now... what to get Neil???
Got ready for tomorrow.
One call, made that. It was just him being scammed. I set him straight. At least look at the email address the supposed email is from, people. Save all of us a lot of hassle.

Mon:
Got a mini haul, just a few sandwiches, some milk, and 2 salad. Strange thing is they took stuff out, but put no stuff in. It's empty again. Can't make money like that!

Had a late meeting, didn't contribute much though.

Did the server check.

Otherwise wrote the next chapter of the Emberhaven story. Like I said I basically skipped what actually happened because it was dumb, and focused on the buying and furnishing of the house.

Rained some.

Got back here, picked some berries. Getting low out there.
Checked sites, had dinner.
Then xbox with the others.

Tues:
Work today was helping some other person try and figure out why they couldn't use my server. I checked their device, made some changes, but we still got some weird error I had never seen before. I even did a network trace. I think it was trying to contact the server but could not. Firewall issue? Get your own server, why is a person from India trying to use my stuff anyway?

Emailed a guy about where to get our latest software to use some smartcards we added in there. I'm so helpful.

And wrote the next chapter of the System book. Just finished it too. They're out of the dungeon and back on the road to figure out their new reality. Not sure what I want the demon they visit to have them do. I figured I would think of it i at the time. Whoops, it's the time.

Came back here, it was raining so I didn't pick anything.

Checked sites, had dinner.

No calls, got ready for tomorrow.

I did the weblet test today, didn't take too long. As it's the exact same weblet I tested before, just from a different source, I didn't do much with it. Maybe this will be the final one? Maybe?

Otherwise still nothing in the fridge, how am I supposed to take food out of the trash if there's no food?

Worked on the next chapter, and the last one. Made a few tweaks. Could I bring Dean back? Hummmmmm he could very well still be alive you know.

Came back here, hot out I didn't pick anything yet. Had dinner, checked sites.

One call, some odd window she says won't go away but she can still use her machine. Naturally she was unable to get my remote client started because windows has to do the "you just clicked on something! Oh NO! Are you sure you want to do this dangerous thing????????" window that she claims she can't move or get to yet with the arrow keys. Thanks again, MS. You didn't increase the security of your OS by any measure, and annoyed people at the same time. Well done.

We lost Satin. After 17 years she just gave out. Faded fast, rather suddenly. Sorry kid. Why has this year been so hard on cats?

Thurs:
I got more snacks today. Whew! I had run out of them yesterday. And there I was at lunch, thinking, how am I going to get through the day without my 500 calorie cookie, or bear claw, or twinkie? But then I checked and my (food) prayers were answered. Plenty of yummy, yummy things to eat with my lunch. That have more calories than my lunch. Saved!

Work wise, still not much. The usual status meeting. Finished the chapter from yesterday, and yes, Dean is back, baby! He survived to the Pyre days because that is what I, the author, wanted to have happen. No reason he couldn't. He's telling them where to go and explaining why the demon world has computers.

Went to box on screen lady. Oh look, I can move the window by moving the window. Wow, what a concept. It was McAfee that was making the window come up. Yay. Ugh, and she's running Win7? Please. Got rid of it, did a check just to be safe. It was fine. She had a yippy dog. And she hates Trump just as much as I do. Huh.

Came back here, checked sites, had dinner.

One call, no two calls! The first is just down the street, saturday morning, maybe a setup? She wasn't exactly clear. The other one just had a scam notice and rebooted, and all was well.

Looking ahead I'll figure out where in the demon realm I want the hole to be, and have the group travel there. Start down it. Maybe talk along the way?

Don't think there will be anything work wise yet. I'll do the shopping, see my parents. Then game. No Stan I guess. But I'll put all my plans into action and be ready for the next adventure. Hopefully in a month.

Saturday, starting Mizzy's gift printing, the one appointment. Picking more berries. Yardwork. The front lawn could use a trim. That's about it I guess? Seems about right.
