It takes only a few minutes for a shot of Novocain to numb an area (of course the eternity of having the needle there and thinking "just get on with it baka yaro!" is another story) but then another four hours for it to go away? Why haven't we invented the hypospray yet? 

 

The only thing of note in the shopping was going to see how much a new battery cost for my Xbox controller, as both of them have died now. A "genuine" microsoft one cost $20.00. However, for $5.00 more I got a second battery and a cool little charging station that also has a USB port so I can charge my cell phone right there too. Overpriced... much, microsoft? 

 

So, yes, I've had my worn out silver filling replaced with a shiny new white compound and everything went fine. Turns out there was a sharp spot on the tooth above that must have been banging into it, year after year, that finally wore the hole in it. He gave it a few whacks with the whirring machine and hopefully that'll keep it for awhile.

 

I was going to call Rebath to see what they wanted but honestly didn't feel like talking with my mouth full of numbness. I also waited to go to the mortgage place to see the person that "can't print" thinking transfer some documents from one mac to another over firewire wouldn't take that long so I could pop over there in-between that and the next one. No. Didn't work for some reason. It was an old eMac, and the screen was all kinds of messed up, so I'm not surprised it didn't work. Of course it only had USB 1 so copying even the small amount of stuff she had took wayyyyy longer then copying it onto the new machine. So I didn't actually get there either, and the Novocain didn't really wear off until about a half hour after I got there, so much for that idea. 

 

Anyway, then went and cleaned out a machine and came home.  Episodes 230-318 of Bleach finished downloading, so I watched a bit of that. And of course there was some stupid side plot before getting back to the main battle. 35 episodes to be exact, but I finally made it back to the main story. Sheesh. 

 

Very busy day tomorrow, five to go to, and all 20 minutes apart. Could be worse, I guess. Hopefully nothing too major, I don't want to start running late (like I always do) right from the very first one and try to catch up the rest of the day.
