As you might guess, nothing took me quite as long as I thought today, but that's okay. The first machine just had one little, easy to remove problem, but I updated everything and ran scans and whatnot.

Then the store of course. No surprises there, used my first Aldi certificate.

Came home, had lunch. Checked my websites. Then out again, just a preventative sort of thing, he didn't have anything really wrong, apart from having a really old P4 with a 20GB HD. UNACCEPTABLE. He says Hi Dad, he's the guy down the street from you on the circle in the blue house.

Then to check on a printer. I was going to say it was pretty much dead, but on a whim I took out the color cartridge and it started printing. Huh. How about that.

And then I came home again. Exciting, no?

I must soon find a gift for my Father's birthday.

Only TEN calls today. Uh, what? And number 10 was my friend Sylvia! And what a tale of woe we had today. Apparently someone (in Arizona) told "this guy" she was moving so they decided to take her computer apart?  Also she doesn't "know how or why this lady ever directed traffic like that to him."??? Is that even English? Why did you let this person in your house? Why would you start with a computer anyway if you were moving? What is wrong inside your head Sylvia!?

I tell a lie, it was eleven calls, but number 11 was the survey company making sure the person that said they talked to me did in fact talk to me.

 Guh, took until just after 9:00 to return them all. And at 9:10 I got a beep that someone else was calling me. So I'll probably have one early tomorrow.

I booked five for tomorrow, including my friend so pity me, please.
