Smashing your finger with a very heavy PC stumbling on the stairs. Really! It's true. I mean, how does this even happen? How many stairs have I climbed since age 2 without incident? But noooo tonight I have to stumble and smash my finger. It is quite painful, in fact. Not broken painful, I can move it and everything, it's just scraped/smushed kind of painful. 

 

And I've had a very, very busy two days after getting 10 calls, yes 10 yesterday and another 7 today. I did nothing tuesday because it was going to be so bad out, so I did five wednesday, got the 10 calls, and did a flurry of stuff today. In the process, I got 5 machines to take home. What? Two laptop from one person. A machine a lady wants to give a friend so she said "whenever", a laptop with a busted screen I don't even think turns on now, and that one from wednesday night. Insisted on "detecting" the video card? of all things before the mouse and keyboard I used, so I could do NOTHING on the machine. Had to go today and get her keyboard/mouse to use. XP- I. HATE. YOU.  

 

So yeah, it's been a very busy two days, and I still have tons to do. I did have a 1:00 in Chili cancel tomorrow, so that really opens the day up, so I have a plan, hope it works. I'm going to go get a system I'm putting a HD into (it came yesterday), and bring it back here to work on. Along with the other four, of course. The keyboard one is the one I finished, and smashed myself with.
