Okay, there was no actual jam involved, nor where there any small red fruits. Anyway, how did everyone's "holiday" go? Aldi was closed. I mean, what? Why is a grocery store closed today? That was odd. So now I have to go back out there tomorrow.
Did two jobs today, the first one I thought was a cleanout, but I should know by now, Dr Jay is all about "here, do this weird thing for me no-one else has ever wanted done. Oh, and the syncing doesn't work." You might guess that, after having nothing but problems with something ever since the beginning, he would give up. Nope, keep plugging away.
So I was about a half hour late to my next one, because syncing between AOL, Blackberry, and Outlook just isn't going to happen. But keep pounding your head against it anyway, even though the website hasn't been updated since 2007 and doesn't even make mention of outlook 2010 so it seems like AOL abandoned it long ago, but whatever.
The next one was setting up a new machine, which is what I thought it was and hey presto, "what are your thoughts on the machine?" "It's a dell PC." What do you want from me? It was obviously the absolute cheapest machine you could possibly lay hands on, don't expect any miracles.
Sunday I watched most of season 2 of tauro majutsu no index, the new Dr Who, played some Reach with Sean/Neil and almost finished Prophecy. Saturday night was more Reach, Mom and Dad came over to look at the garage door and get the spring off so I could replace it. Finished rewriting the Carlita story bits that didn't actually happen that way. Cleaned. Think I played some Oblivion in there too.
Friday was game night of course. Just the fight with the demonic spirit hunter ghost, and Neil being Neil, revealing both the sword and Fenrir during the fight, is now "under arrest". Whoops. Before that was grandmas, where I dropped off my pearler beads and said "you want something to do, sort these things." I'm pretty sure I did some work before that, but it's been so long I don't care to strain myself remembering.
So, pretty standard fare I suppose. Looking to be pretty warm tomorrow, thank you very much.
Sold a couple of "artist courses" on ebay that a customer gave me, she had bought them at a garage sale and didn't want them anymore. Made a little money on them, just the opening bid. But hey, free money. Which I used buying garage door parts. Sigh. Anyway, boxed them up today, so I'll take them in to ship tomorrow.
Couple of other places to go tomorrow. First to a "show me how to scan, wah" then shopping. Return the dead motherboard system, then a HD and a CD of pictures just down the street I've had sitting on my table for about two/three weeks. (I am my father's son, after all) Then to one other place a little later. I got two calls after 9:00, don't even bother fellows.
And speaking of dead motherboard systems, the unplugged PC I had to play Recettear on... dead. Wasn't even plugged in, how did it die? Stupid PCs.
