Turning my calls back on? I've gotten like 5 today. That's more appointments then I did all last week! What the heck? Not that I'm complaining, it's just bizarre.
So, did not get over to paint today, my morning went went 2 hours, mainly because Malwarebytes wouldn't open so I spent a half hour trying to make that work before just giving up. Received a DVD that's basically a slideshow, he wanted the first and last slides taken out. Uh, really? That's not so easy you know? So I worked on that a bunch. Also had to call Stewart at 3:00 so I had to hang around until then. By then I figured it could wait, it's not going anywhere. So I finished the DVD and made a copy to see if he likes it.
Played one stage of Reach with Sean, I kept forgetting to save a clip of me getting killed by a warthog spinning through the air which is really, really funny, so I remembered, then went to save it, then Sean was like, let's do a stage now! So I did. I'll have to hook up the 360 to the video digitizer and get movie copy of it to share. It's pretty funny.
Wrote up my idea for Albert's new chainsaw sword. Here's the recipe: Take a normal sword and get rid of the edge and instead make a track. Stick some alchemically created lubricant in the track. Then take some bloodiron and make a chainsaw chain out of it. Put this in the track. Naturally the handle will have to be modified to grip the sword by the sides, but that's easy. Then, when it comes time to battle, just use the Animation skill and tell it to spin as fast as possible. With no friction on the track thanks to the lubricant, it would probably be pretty fast. Instant chainsaw sword.
Animation of course is the Alchemist skill of giving objects a semblance of life temporarily, basically making an object move as you direct. You could make a bolder roll itself downhill or the arms of a chair to grab someone sitting in it. But I don't get to use the skill that often so I thought of a way, and that was the result. HA!
Sean's in a little pain, but doing fine. Mizzy didn't finish one essay yesterday, hope she got through everything okay today. The plan is to do two more Infinite Vector characters friday (Mizzy's doctor and my Zirconian security chief) and just stay overnight, then leave for Canada in the morning. Saves me an hour and a half of driving and I get more sleepy nap times! What a deal!
Well, hopefully some good will come out of my 5 calls which I go to return now, they all sound like pretty promising candidates. Maybe I'll finally get busy again and can stop worrying about my shrinking bank balance! Oh, right, it's because I'm going to be gone Saturday that I'll get a bunch of work I could do that day. Riggghht. That's how it works.
