Fri:
So mostly proofreading today. Still no one got back to me about the error message on my device. I despair of them ever doing so.
And the guy with the hardware I need is still playing around with it, and I guess will get it to me later. Okay.
Games are canceled. It was later revealed Alyx has covid, and Sean wasn't feeling up to our Friday game so that was that.

Went shopping, saw my parents.

Got home, put stuff away. Went for a kitty walk.

Checked sites, videos, then NMS of course. Oh yeah, found the manual online for my amp. Wonder if it's worth getting the controller? No way to "cut power" so to speak and just use the HDMI ports for routing. Still haven't figured out a way to bypass it so it doesn't have to be on just to use my Mac. Oliver has chosen the top of it as his personal spot now. Can't really say why.

Sat:
Did some cleaning.
Made progress on Neil's gift. Mixed up the silicon for the mold. Going to need another whole bottle.
Which of course I'll only use half of. I made it pretty thin, too. I can't win. Either I have way too much or not enough. I have the object in a cup barely big enough for the object. So I figured I wouldn't need all that much. But yet, I have only enough for 3/4 for the filling. Sigh.
Did some painting too, of the base. That actually looks decent.
Oh and I put Sean's together. It'll need work on the seams.
Cleaned up from the amp move too. This one doesn't have a "back" channel but I are smart so I just connected the wires for the front and back and that works fine. Thanks, brain.

More NMS.
Then finished up the paint job.
Glue didn't hold on Sean's, tried a different approach.
Had dinner.
Parents came for movie.
Then more Remnant II with the others.

Sun:
Cleaned out my heater for the bathroom. It just wasn't getting any airflow at all that I could feel. Turns out it was completely and I mean completely blocked. I do try to use air to blow it out a few times a year, I guess I wasn't doing anything at all. I'll have to watch it, I thought it had some kind of sensor that would turn it off if it got too hot. No moving air through the thing would seem to qualify? Don't know. Thanks for using standard screws and making it easy. Oh wait you didn't. They were weird triangular screws. Thankfully I had just the bit in my toolbox. I mean if you're going to prevent us from opening and cleaning the thing, then make some kind of access to a filter of some kind we can get to. Oh, right, you wanted me to buy another one. I get it.

Checked sites.
Then worked on the chapter.
That took forever! At least it felt like it. But the first combat is done. Bit touch and go, Olaph died pretty quickly, good thing XP exists. His friends literally buried him to keep him safe. He was useless. But then, so was Sinjorino really. Paige and the elemental orbs really carried the day. How about that?
Got ready for tomorrow.
4 calls today? And one from before I didn't reach, something about setting a machine up and it not going on wi-fi or something.

Told one lady to reboot her machine.
Another had flipped the little flippy triangle on her email account and was clueless about where her inbox was.
Another had no problems.
And I ordered a battery for a Mac. Sheesh. Thankfully it's an old enough model it can be replaced. Wawaaa.

Yes, for sure. Hey, it looks pretty good on the TV, had never projected it over there before. Neat.

Mon:
Good haul today, but I won't be able to use the salad. Into the composter it goes. I'll bring my mother more wings and some other stuff before they leave. We have this new fancy coffee maker thing in that room that people are I guess excited out. There were more people in there at once than I've ever seen. Go away! Leave me to my garbage digging in peace!
Checked the servers, as I was behind on it because the usual day was over the weekend this time.
I also finally got to test the logoff timing as my machine was changed from TLS 1.3 to 1.2. I guess the server it connects to doesn't like 1.3. Short sighted perhaps but whatever. It was found.
Talked with Don about an AT&T problem (recall we did AT&T in 2018 or so).
Did a demo, I was like "here's the feature we implemented" and they were like "but this is the feature we actually wanted." This feature was done like 2 years ago. So not too on the ball?
And did a little cleaning, because why not?

Brought my parents stuff, and came home.

Tues:
Less exciting at work today. I did get a whole other haul, so that was exciting. Really, why put stuff in there that's dated for the next day? So weird. A whole box full.

Got logs for the machine yesterday. Set a task I had already done to done. (8.0 trunk testing) Wrote half a page of the next chapter. Still not sure what the vampire is going to put the group through.

Did more cleaning, just because.

I feel like there was some other minor thing. A Karen thing and a Gina thing. But I can't recall what it was.

Came back here, checked sites. Took care of the food I brought home.

Had dinner, then a kitty walk.

Yucky call. Took an hour. They have no idea what's going on. Their email (a special domain) stopped working yesterday. Of course looking at the settings in outlook is no longer possible because after it's set up they won't show it to you again. Thanks, MS! Finally found godaddy, somehow I forget how. He has a website or at least that name, and he did in fact pay them for email service in the past. But it was canceled a day ago? Well, there's your problem. And you say you paid for office but MS says you didn't? And there's this other MS account you have no idea where it came from? Neat! I guess we can blame it all on the "assistant." Sure. Get. It. Together.

Nothing much new at work today. I finished the next chapter though. They're going to a boat!

Did more cleaning, not much needed to be done by this time though. Ha! Caught Christina sweeping this morning, and she had completely destroyed a shelf I sort of left alone. Where did that stuff go? Odd. So she got the bug too. There won't be anything for them to do tomorrow. Take that, suckers??

Brought more stuff home.

Set up the printer for a guy. All he has is an android phone and tablet. Uh, okay? Sure. I guess that's reasonable in this day and age. Anyway, cannon so fairly easy to set up. Didn't need to download a 400MB driver (HP looking at you!) it just connected and worked. So took about as long to drive there as it did to do the job. Nice. Came back here.

Got ready for tomorrow. Have to go to bed early, have to get up and feed everybody over there. Hope they got to Penn safely.

Thurs:
Seems they did.

Fed everybody over there. Saw an outdoor kitty, I named him cookies and cream but he did not want to see me. Kitty, you don't have to live out here. We would take good care of you!

Went to work. Had the big clean. Don't know what they were doing over on the other side exactly (apart from getting rid of stuff I guess) but I had the glorious task of taking all the toner and drums and imaging units and what have you out of boxes and recycling everything. Got a whole wheeled dumpster thing of styrofoam, had they had to empty the cardboard one twice. Filled up the bins down the hall pretty good and we have a bit more space in the lab now. Yay! That took a bunch of the day.

Had the normal meeting, then watered the plants in the normal way.

Dropped a few more food items off at my parent's house, display cases are empty again? Huh. Anyway, nobody touched my food so I was worried for nothing. Maybe Christina set them straight or maybe they just didn't look in there. Impossible to know. I have enough for next week and I'll start bringing some back (if I don't get more, which I will but not for a bit given what I just wrote).

One call, going to erase some PCs or whatever. Sure. Saturday at 3:00? I suppose.

Getting ready for bed and that's it.

Looking ahead, we got D7.8 latest release so I'll load that up. A few quick things to test so that will probably take the morning tomorrow. Feeding everyone of course, I didn't forget don't worry!

Not sure about game. Sean's thing isn't happening but he was still unsure how motivated he would be. So we'll see.

Then over the weekend let's finish the mold for Neil's gift, work on Sean's, do second job, feed everybody, yeah, that all sounds about right.
