OH CRAP DRAGON!

 

Oh, sorry, must be my imagination. Sorry.  

 

So work the last two days was…n't great. Two jobs yesterday, but one late in the day, unscheduled, as they were right down the street and just needed chkdsk run. So I went and did that. Before that was just a regular clean out. Totally blocked heat sink, so I got that all cleared out. Otherwise that day, more work on the Database, and leaves. Judged about half of them down, and they were nice and dry, so I ran the mower over most of the back. It was just about snowing them earlier in the day, so I figured they would all be down soon. Didn't think it would be this soon, as when I got up this morning the ground was covered again, and the tree was 85-90% empty. Huh. Lot of wind last night or something? So I got gas and ran them over again, got the whole back done and blew out the front. Luckily it only sprinkled a little, so they were still nice and dry and fluffy, easy to move about. Still some up there but not many. That was the morning. Then I had the one job at 1:00, which actually took two hours, well, technically it took two and a half hours, I was on the phone with india (kodak) for about an hour because the printer was complaining about the printhead being missing. She didn't believe what I was reading her on the screen apparently, as she had me do a remote connect and did everything she told me to do for herself. Whatever. They are sending him a new one under warrantee, so that's nice.

 

Came back here, washed my cups*, checked my webpages. Yesterday I got a call from gamestop that I could "stop in early" at 10:00 pm to "join in the fun" and get Skyrim at 12:00. There's no way I'm going there that late at night. I'll go later at 11:30. What would we, those of us there at 10:00 to buy this game, do for two hours? That's a tiny place you know, a very tiny place. Weird. 

 

Couple of calls today, but again mostly questions. Perhaps two actual jobs for tomorrow. Not sure about Sean's this week, Pat's father is visiting so no perfect horizon game for us. Friday dad will finally come see the latest Dr Who.

 

Won Deus Ex last night too. I started to play it through again, with lethal force this time (oooooh, twenty shots for my gun rather then 7 tranc darts, how generous) but after getting through the first mission, I was like, you know? No. I had no desire to go further. That game has no replay value, I tell you. Shooting everything that moved rather then sneaking past it seemed to swell my bank balance a bit more then the previous playthrough though. 

 

So I read the rest of the night, instead. Take that, electronic devic- oh wait I used my kindle? Dang!

 

Grandma tomorrow, of course. Perhaps some work?
