So the day started with me getting up. Wait, that's too much detail.
Answered all of Boris' questions, and set the clock on his picture frame thing. Weird thing, the arrows for up and down just moved the cursor around. Pressing the menu button made the selection under the cursor move down by one. So I had to go through every month to get to 11, and then start at 2098 to get to 2011. Weird. But I figured it out at least.
Then to the lady with the machine that wasn't turning on. As I suspected, it was just the power supply, and changing it easily fixed the problem. She said the machine she used "was slow" and I investigated. Yeah, it's a 700Mhz PIII. iPods are faster then that. But I freed up some space and… nothing because that's all I can do to a machine that old.
Over to the dentist place, he really was using all his pathetically small 30GB hard drive. I got 10 GB free to save them some money buying a new hard drive and having me install it because I'm nice like that, and he wanted a new one anyway. Oh, okay. Fine.
Then to put in the keyboard and just take a look at her two boy's machines, which in reality were fine.
Then back here. Only one call- arrg. The lady from yesterday, I guess frontier was able to get her back online but the Win2k machine (what is this, Old Equipment Day?) still is not back.
But I do have a job already scheduled for tomorrow, a cleanout, so I guess it's not totally a waste. How do I get six (or seven? I forget) calls yesterday but only 1 today? It makes no sense.
Fixed a few bugs in the paragon database, got it loading documents dropped on it, and opening the document with a double click, so that's good.
Guess I go call that lady now, see what else I can do over the phone, or go over there. They only have me come over at 7:00, the absolute worst time possible, but I suppose it would be fine tonight, what with me not having anyone to talk to anyway.
