Sorry I haven't written, it's just been pretty boring around here, what with the giant robot attacks and everything. Oh wait I made that up.
Work has been pretty slow, like one job a day. I've been working at Grandma's, today I painted the basement windows a lovely grey color. Yesterday I glazed the edges so they stayed nice and tight. Of course I broke one of the storm windows trying to get it out as they haven't been moved for like 50 years. I couldn't turn the screws so I got the bright idea of just gently tapping the little metal bits that hold them in out of the way. The first one worked perfectly. The second one my angle was a bit wrong and "crack". Thanks.
I did mention before I finished the garage, right?
Game saturday was the new Infinite Vector game with just Myself and Neil as Mizzy was gone to Buffalo. We missed you! It went well, we took on a couple revised Harvesters which proved to be a little too revised as we cut right through them. Previously only Mizzy's Vital Blade was able to hurt them, so a middle ground still has not yet been reached. Still, I got to meet my "number one" and thought about how my character was different now then when I made him… two years ago. He's a bit more interesting now, much less two dimensional. It's just unfortunate that to start (uh, restart) this game, we'll probably lose another game in the process. Like so many that have come before it.

Today was just a cleanout, no real issues, but his CA expired so I have him Avast!. Oh, and cleaned the dust out. You know what else was dusty? That vacuum I used on the windows. I dumped it out and cleaned the filter, it was billowing even. Whew! I also talked some people through some things on the phone and one person is going to drop off a laptop. One person is going to pick up a laptop tomorrow, so I'll finally get paid for that.
As far as rain, it's rained about fifteen minutes, tops, the last week but at least it's been nice out.
Of course Sean went into surgery today at 1:00, and Mizzy started day one of the bar, so as it is now 4:46 I hope both of those things came out okay for both of those peeps. Don't know if we're going to TF con this Saturday, it'll come down to how Sean feels. Not that it's worth it to go, last years Gravity Bot purchase by Guar was pretty definitive.
No calls of note thus far, but I found some more stuff to paint over at grandma's, and actually I have at least one appointment tomorrow already, so that should be fine.
Just got a call from Sean, he seems fine and is up and around so it looks like he just might be okay. So that's a relief, though probably more for him then me. Now we just hope Mizzy did as well. Still, to think we can cut open someone's knee, remove a tumor, and have them back home and walking hours later? Pretty amazing I think.
Just boring around the house stuff now I guess. Until about 9:00 when Sean wants to do more Reach, which involves only virtual walking so that's great!
Good one for tomorrow, a possible dead power supply and that one and a laptop to clean out. Should be fun.
