How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good, and more interesting then I expected.

Friday was two cleanouts. Is the phrase "white trash" derogatory? I hope not. Anyway, that's what one was. It's one of those things you know it when you see it. Anyway, both went pretty well, and afterwords I went over to see Grandma. I stayed for dinner, don't know why. Got more yummy asian food, though not quite as good as the one before, still good. 

I got home, and checked my email. We had been (and by We I mean sean and myself) planning to do Stan's Shadowrun game on Saturday, so I didn't really get too much ready for my game, but apparently he had mailed me about 11:30 with "How about running your game?" And you didn't call to ask me this, why? So I called him back, and said, why not? I had it mostly figured out anyway. So I went over there. It went well, not exactly as I hoped but that was basically my fault not having it only 50% planned. I wanted to draw maps and things but they solved the mystery anyway. I've only run a couple of games now, but I learn something each time I do, so hopefully they'll continue to get better. I had a fantastic idea for the next one on the way home. I had a vague idea, but needed more meat, and the meat came! So I think that game should be pretty fun.

Saturday I didn't have work, and the few calls I had weren't something I needed to rush out and do, so I worked on fleshing out the characters for the next game, and did a little more work on the creator. Read. Left early to get gas, then to Walmart to get a dessert. Stan's game was "eh",  again, more looking up rules then playing. That's not totally it though, he does put a lot of planning into it but... I don't know. 

At some point I came up with another adventure for my game, and decided to move it into the "field trip" spot, as that's the adventure after the next one and it was just, yeah, they go to Japan and... stuff. So I figured that all out and did some characters for it.

It's useless, of course, Sean's gone next week on his 1 year anniversary,  so no games at all. He also might be getting two German Shepherds, apparently Mizzy doesn't want to be in the house alone. I could see that, actually. I doubt she's ever actually lived alone. She lived on campus, then married Sean right after. It does take a certain kind of mentality to live alone, and I suppose even I don't, as cats count for something. But Sean going to Croatia for like two months might have her spooked a bit, living on her own for the first time. He asked me if I minded taking them sometimes like I did with Hana, and I didn't.

Anyway, I "closed the store" today which was basically putting the stuff I want to sell on ebay or whatever in a big box (knocking several years of dust off some things), adding to my collection the rest of it, sweeping the floor, and hosing the metal shelves down that held the stuff. Looks funny having nothing there now. Speaking of hosing, we've gotten a ton of rain the last two days, which is good because we need it, we haven't gotten a lot, by my estimation, but I could be wrong.

So, tomorrow I have extra time planned to see about getting my enhanced license, then shopping. Three jobs to do, but the last two are very nearby and one seems like she should have been able to do what I asked. Oh well.
