Well the day proceeded in a pretty smooth manner if I say so myself. The first one went fine, though he was a bit shocked to discover the stupid tablet PC (they still make those things??) he got because it was only three pounds was only half as fast as has previous one. HAHA. (Dual 2.2Ghz vs Dual 1.3 Ghz) Ouch, that's pretty pathetic, ya know? It did have an SSD hard drive, cut in half because PC makers are dumb, but whatever. Hope those two pounds was worth it for you.
And this is a smart guy. At least, I saw the crossword puzzle he was doing and he had it finished. I can't do a crossword for the life of me. And I read voraciously, and I know what "voraciously" means. Okay, it applies more to food, but you get the idea. But at least I know to check the speed of something before I buy it. But him, not so much. We all have our strengths I guess.
Next up a problem with IE just up the street, so I got there and installed Firefox etc. and that was fine. Went home 250 to stop and get gas, usually I can wait until Thursday night, I guess I was either lower then I thought, or did more driving then I thought. Also put more in the gas can for the mower. $44. Seesh.
Had a quick bite and left again for the mortgage place. The kodak software once again reveals how bad it is, and picassa is used in its place. Stupid, crappy...
Then over to Even, who was once again infected, this time by a fake anti-virus from the future! Something something 2012!
Then over early to another checkup, someone guessed her yahoo password, gee, wonder why? Could it have been aabc12? Something a machine could guess in about a minute? Yes, yes it was. So we made sure that was changed, and I ran the usual stuff, and that was that.
Back home by 4:00. Finished the laptop off, via a reload.
Ate dinner.
Then more work on Sprite World, it looks pretty good, I have to admit.
Only two calls, but one miraculously started working while on the phone with me (scared it I guess) so just one more for tomorrow, for a total of three. Fine, just fine.
Then more work on S.W, a little work on a PC that got dropped off, and this.
Done! I'm getting ready for tomorrow now, and finishing up the Malwarebytes scan on that PC and getting to bed. I suggest you do the same, if you haven't already!
