The morning went okay, my 9:30 was to clean out two laptops. Now normally I would do them both because I am awesome like that. But he was using one so I figured he had important work to be about and let him. So I did them one at a time, doubling the time I was there. But I budgeted for that, so no problem. And anyway, I do so hate to show off. Next up was yet another clean out. Pretty nasty little virus there, it kept closing just about everything I wanted to do. But I got him in the end. Of course. So it's now about 1:15. I believe my next appointment to be at 3:00, so I come back home. Work on getting more comic work done, checked my daily webpages, left at 2:40. Turns out that appointment is for tomorrow! Buh? How in the heck did I do that? It clearly shows 11/18 on the previous invoice, and today clearly is not 11/18. At least I didn't wait around long, just spent another 20 minutes driving back home. So I look at all the things I could do. I call a guy who I got some RAM for, and is one the way to my 5:30, but no answer. Great. So I have six calls at this point, I've now booked the rest of tomorrow because I had to move my 3:00 today to then (thank goodness it was still open on the calendar) and have nothing to do that's close enough to get to and then get back over here for my 5:30. Sigh. So, whatever. I hang here until 5:10, get gas on the way, and actually get past that stoplight that hates me on 104. (No really, I once waited like three minutes for that thing to change. Finally I just said screw it and turned. It's one of those left turn arrow jobs, like I'm not intelligent enough to see that the light is green and there are no cars, I will turn. NO, I need my own separate arrow. Yeah. The next time it was only a minute and a half it made it wait) Got there, this is BSOD lady I'm slowing replacing parts for, and SHE'S got one of those fake anti-virus things. JOY. And of course it's my favorite "the task manager has been disabled by your administrator" so I can't even see what the executable name is. Thanks Microsoft, it's those little features like not being able to troubleshoot stuff I most love about your products. Time to run combofix! Half an hour later I was out of there again. Came home, ate dinner. Made my 6 phone calls. Booked pretty much the rest of the week. Right now saturday is completely open, but I'll probably be booking it given it's only tuesday. Gonna be a rough week. Finally got caught up on the dialog for the comic. All 6 done, and they worked out perfectly. Now I just have to start drawing this weeks. It's now almost 11:00, so probably not going to get done tonight. Now I just have to resist the temptation to watch the Dr. Who episode I'm downloading, if the 50 minutes estimated time is accurate so it finishes tonight.
