Of course, the ancient, 600mhz laptop they were using had the fan busted who knows how long ago, and instead of turning it off all last night, they just let it sit there and bake. So when I got there, it was almost too hot to even touch. Well, if your drive wasn't dead last night, it is now. Nice going.
Came back home, checked my websites. Called the prison outreach to see when the lady would be there, the rather young and attractive Dellenna, so I went over there at 1:00. Sheesh, another two machines choked up with dust. I mean the IBM machine wasn't too bad, but the Dell, ugh! No wonder they were both hanging all the time.
Of course getting there was a bit of a problem, as I was told that Culver Rd was one way "going North" so I went out of my way to approach from the south. Nope, it was one way going South so I had to work my way back up side streets to get there. Sigh.
Then over to scrape paint for two hours. Got the whole left side done, except the window which was really bad, but I wasn't sure if it was being replaced or not.
Sean's tomorrow for the "Jedi" game with tasty desert. Three jobs, not too far from each other for once, so that's good.
