Super busy today, and it looks like the trend will continue the next two days as they are totally booked up! Pretty busy yesterday too, but it's done, so moving on. So the day begins with a bunch of snow. Always a great thing to wake up to, you betcha. Got out to a place I hadn't been in many years, and she was still struggling along with her crappy old ancient eMac running at 700Mhz. We talked about replacing it. And she only got DSL a month ago? *sigh* Took her crappy IBM laptop, going to totally rebuild it so it actually has, you know, a bit of speed? Then over to the Win7 lady, got her wireless working and the printer installed. So that was pretty easy. Then a really strange one. A wireless HP printer that printed, but didn't show an icon in the "hardware and printers" control panel. And the "HP Director" kept giving me the old "your printer is not set up" fun message. Huh? It's on the wireless, I can see the printer webpage, it shows up in the print dialog box, but WHERE IS IT? Never seen that sort of thing before. She's going to call wonderful "best" buy who "set up it" and see what they have to say. Then a regular cleanout. Vacuumed the inside out, that sort of thing. Then over to the video card guy. The laptop had tied again, so while the video card thing went smooth, I had to do a repair of the laptop. It came back, but let's hope it stays that way. Got home at 6:15. Starting at 10:00, that's 8 hour of work. Got one record done, wanted to get all three I have left done. Whoops.
