But nothing too tough, actually. The excitement of the day was the chipmunk that Squeaker had cornered under my entertainment center. I put both cats behind doors and make a small room out of my speakers and a board to try and throw a basket over him after using a long ruler to coax him into it. Didn't work but he ran into the bathroom making it easy to catch him. His tail was messed up, he had no hair left on it at all, but he wasn't bleeding. I put him in the aquarium for a bit to calm down and make sure he was okay, when I came back a couple of hours later he still seemed fine, so I let him go in the back yard. Hope his tail fur grows back before winter! First was a cleanout, though actually it was running pretty well. But it needed to be checked out. Then I had a bit of time until my next scheduled one so I went to see Boris and Lou, got them straightened out. Then to patch up that system with the little black ribbon cable. Spent two hours there, (I had budgeted for it, so it was fine) showing her some other things. About half an hour of that was her looking for some excel spreadsheet she had been working on. Finally found it in a folder full of other documents she somehow knew nothing about. Okay. Then over to install some RAM which only took a couple of minutes. Laptop memory, didn't have the size she wanted that's why I had to go back. Answered a couple of questions for her too. Then over to just check out a system that had just been set up. Took off some HP stuff like demos and "get high speed internet". He said it was acting funny and his memory check had given errors so I took two of his four RAM chips out. He still had 2gb running XP so it's no big deal. Came home, dinner, had another five calls to make, and a couple of people called after that too, so while fri/sat isn't full yet, I bet by tomorrow it will be. Then I won't make calls for four days, that'll be fun. Wanted to start Left4Dead2 early, but I got a call at 8:45 so we didn't start until a bit after 9:00. Sigh. Just finished, that's why the short entry today. Time to get ready for bed. Luckily I'm ready for tomorrow and a well deserved... one day off. Woohoo!
