Anyway, I must report some measure of success, the graphics card I ordered arrived and worked perfectly. I'm back to 1440x900 on the monitor and everything is looking good for the hackintosh. So I moved the iMac out of the way, cleaned the dust off my filthy, filthy (honestly, I'm ashamed) desk, and am hopeful about this system. It is pretty fast! As I only had one place to do today I also did paperwork, always a pleasure. Did the Carlita stuff to get caught back up in the game for next Saturday, and finalized Sean's birthday present I'll give him a month late. I did get a bunch of calls today though, so tomorrow and most of Friday is booked. Oh, priced some stuff to go to the co-op, and gave that system back. She was over an hour late, I had to call her to make sure she hadn't forgotten. She hadn't, just running late at work.

Tuesday was busy, went over to the hotel in the morning, to look at the two public machines. Then over to rebath to see about changing their spreadsheet, then to set up a new machine (and the wireless for it) then another new machine set up. I guess the recession is over! My 6:30 canceled, so I did not go there.

Monday was non-typical, I did a job, then went shopping. First a cleanout, nothing too bad, then shopping. No library this week, I have a stack of magazines that's been piling up. Then to a guy with a stuck laptop key, which made his machine act loco. I also sold him some RAM and took off crappy McAfee, and Avast immediately found a virus! Great job you're doing there, McAfee, catching that for us. So I fought with that another hour, somehow it was infecting a critical system DLL so I had to restore it from backup, and then it would get reinfected. UGh, glad that one's over.
