Fri:
Spent much of the day messing with that stupid 5300 trying to get equitrac card reader to work.
Got it to work on a C70, great! Ugh. I started an erase data at about 2:00 figuring there must be some weird setting making it not work. It hadn't finished erasing by the time I left, so I guess I get to continue this on Monday. Why does it take so long to just put a machine back to a factory default? Doesn't make sense to me.
Checked a bug on the new weblet. It was fine.
Not much else.
Saw my parents, did the shopping. Got some chicken broth for Tinker, hoping he would drink more. Didn't like it. I read the side of the label. Whoops, it has onion in it. Well, can't have that anyway. Maybe I'll get some cat milk? A pet store would sell it.
Came back here, got a cancellation for tomorrow, yeah it's fine I told you it was fine. So that's good.
Checked sites.
Did game. We managed one fight, and made it to the town where the crystal can be studied. I think the new "hero" of the town is somehow taking over the crystal's power, which, how would they even know how to do that? We haven't seen him yet. Personally if this guy wants to sit around all day and never be allowed to leave the village let him. Maybe this is a solution to the whole problem anyway. Replace an inorganic power source with an organic one.

Sat:
Some warframe while watching the elden ring playthrough. Well it's a playthrough but it's done by Gripes so it's more of a lore exploration. Not that he seems to be finding much. Most things have no significance.
Looked over my deck, sent some new cards to be printed by Sean.
Went over to see about the scammed lady. Changed all her passwords as she did let someone on her PC. Couldn't do the bank, it's screwed up in some way. I don't have a username for her, but I can't set up one because when I put in the account number it says it exists already. Spent a half hour on hold. Great, thanks M&T or whatever bank it was. Made sure the receipt printer talked to the two laptops the guy had. They did. Haven't I done that before? Humm. Decided to go home rather than leave for Sean's. I hated to do the driving but it was too much time to sit around in the cold too soooooo.
Just puttered around here a bit until it was time to go.
Left for game.
We escaped the demon world, and now can go back and forth on our own. Met a demon girl, seems innocent. We just made it back and to the ship, we'll have to report what happened next time. And start building a bomb to shove through a portal to blow up a factory.
Watched a bit of Get Smart and got home pretty late.

More warframe, only need 400 more resources to make the blueprint to make the gun. The requirements for this one gun are way out of line. But at least I think it's the last blueprint we can make there.
Watched videos, checked sites.
Sunday stuff in general, nothing much excining..
Got ready for tomorrow, watched at least part of the Big Game. Ugh, it's on Fox? Yuck. And the fans are doing some sort of chop? Oh, because it's the chiefs? That's a bad look. Why does this team still exist again? And the fact that you people can't tell it's a bad look is especially troubling. Close game though, right up until the end. Not many great commercials but some good ones.
One call, the new Mac lady. Didn't reach her. Probably out super bowl partying.

Mon:
The machine finished erasing at some point so I set it up again. Oh look, still doesn't work. Shocker. Even tried an older plugin, no dice. Stupid thing.
Set up gabi again, for this one test yay love gabi so great hope it never ends and it won't so yay!
Verified another bug or two for the new blocking scren. One bug was fixed, one bug got worse. It doesn't time out anymore. Whoops. What did you do?
So that was the morning.
In the afternoon was bit more messing with the gabi device, trying to get the new change in there. It's all screwed up. Naturally. Don't think I had those issues the last gabi test I did so... yeah. That's a thing.
Got another huge haul today. Yup, another one. You know those white post office boxes? Actually I'll just show you.



Yes, filled it overflowing at one place, and then picked up another load at the other site. I got enough mac and cheese for the rest of the week, along with enough yogurt. I won't even touch the sandwiches. I got 4 salad as well, but as I'm back to having salad and not soup (or rice) at home in the evenings I'll bring two home. I have stuff from a week ago I bought but I'll mix it all together and eat it all up.
But plenty to bring to my parents again. I would have brought some today but I just gave them a ton of stuff. I'll let them eat some of it up.
Yes, I had the brownie right away.

Back here I checked sites, watched videos. No calls, but I did call Mac lady again. Got her question answered, she just needed to put her gmail password in.

Did more warframe, someone else has been contributing the items we need, thanks! We only need about 300 more now.

Tues:
More of the same today... not the food. Did some gabi stuff, trying to see if the problem was the new device or not. But we'll get a new build tomorrow with the values we need so that will show it better. Some testing on the new weblet, well, bug fix verification. Also meetings, lots of meetings. The usual Joe meeting, a Gina meeting, and the 8:00 one that doesn't last very long.

But there is food news. The food service is doing something new apparently, making fresh stuff in building 207 and bringing it over here to 111. I checked it out. There was a lot there; wraps, salads, sandwiches. I had to ask myself, as I looked at the dates written on them two days in the future if the amount of food waste for the place wasn't going to go up very shortly. Maybe there's a lot so they can gauge the interest? And they'll make less once they know how much will sell? I mean we don't have many people in the building, come on. It's still mostly empty. Why they're doing this I have no idea. But we'll see in a few days how much ends up in the trash, and then in my fridge. At least the packaged stuff has a slightly longer shelf life once I freeze it. This stuff... I don't know. It's pretty fresh. Should be interesting.

That's all the news work wise. Came back here, checked sites, had goodies and dinner.

No calls. More warframe, no Reach yet I guess.

We only need 150 more samples to make the blueprint. I got a resource booster so I was getting ~20 per time not 10. Nice!

Wed:
Pretty much more of the same today. Spent a bunch of time fighting with gabi. I logged in with a card, the timer didn't seem to fire to warn me it was going to time out, it just did it, so I figured I would just do it again real quick and pay more attention. (the voice unit is all the way across the lab and after 5 minutes I really wasn't paying that much attention. Yes, I'm a professional.)
Card wouldn't work anymore.

Finally tried another card after messing with the time and the server and whatnot. The other card works fine, so it's not the device or the server. It's the card somehow? But I've been using it for weeks. That's why I used it this time, I knew it worked and I had it handy. So weird.

Loaded and tested a new weblet, just a quick sanity on it, this one wasn't an official version or anything. Just a version to work with the new firmware that came out.

Anyway, once the card actually worked again I could do a proper test. I think something is still wrong, it's using the wrong timer value.

No food in the trash yet. Maybe tomorrow morning as they expired tomorrow.

So yeah, a lot of cursing Gabi out today. Neat.

Came back here, checked sites, had dinner. More warframe, we only need 72 of the resource! Maybe I can finish that up tomorrow and call it done? Could be nice.

Took a call at about 3 minutes to 9:00. He's running out of space? Okay... Gave him Saturday at 2:00 because I've got mac lady tomorrow. Huh neither is all that far away maybe I'll call him after... see I'm getting a booster Friday after that scare at work and decided on friday so I have the weekend to recover. So I really, really didn't want to do anything Saturday. Hummm... Neither should be all that long. I wonder.


Thurs:
Fairly busy today but only with meetings? Had a meeting, but there was some other meeting so the people that needed to be at the meeting were not at the meeting. So we had to have the meeting again, but at 3:30 this time. Nice! No, wait, the other thing.
But we had the onedrive meeting, and another delay as they say they're "this close" to being done. Uh huh. Did you solve the touch issue when scrolling? Can we keep the SSO token for more than an hour? No? Then you're not done.
And the status meeting.
Did I do any actually work today? I showed the developer guy the gabi issue. I looked more into why the card isn't working. Well, a little more, I didn't go overboard or anything. Stupid card. Not much, just meetings.

No fresh food in the trash when I left. It had been moved around though. Still dated today, we'll see what's there tomorrow I guess.

Left late, so arrived at mac lady later than I wanted. Ugh, intel core 2 duo iMac. Slow begins to describe it. She somehow cut her external into two pieces, put pictures on there that were 0kb, (a ton of them) and then excluded the backup drive, uh, from itself. I moved the pictures that had size back to her pictures folder. Her time machine is now half as big as it should be, there's no way to shrink it. And despite finally changing her password putting it in wouldn't start iCloud photo sharing. She has two different iCloud account? And she's paying for both? What? You need to get your life together, lady.

Called the other guy, no answer. Sigh. I really hope I'm feeling up to it Saturday.

And Sunday! The guy from last week who I said didn't need me called me and wants Sunday. Why? Just why? I wanted a nice, clean, no jobs weekend to recover from the shot. Why couldn't I have that? And 10:30? Really? What could be so important you can't look it up and save me the hassle, and you need me there at 10:30 on a Sunday morning?

So that's part of the weekend. Tomorrow I'll do whatever, leave early and get my shot. See about filling Oliver's prescription as the site told me it was too early. I'll also finally turn in my lotto ticket and maybe buy some stuff with a gift card. Yes, I make my trips to wegmans count. Can you tell I don't go there often? Wonder why that is?

Then I'll see my parents. No game, Sean is grading and getting ready for some big RIT game he runs.

Then the horrible weekend. Not looking forward to it.

Got enough of the resource in Warframe, won't have to do that stage ever again. Takes 3 days for the research to complete though. Probably that long to build the dang weapon too. Oh well, at least I have everything I need to build it.
