Had a very nice christmas, and I hope you did too, all you out there in blog reader land. Got a trackball in a very beat up box, which nonetheless is working for me perfectly. New slippers, just in time, mine were falling apart. Grandma bought me boarderlands though she didn't know it, along with another xbox controller. See, I got this xbox controller shell for Sean and thought I would get one for myself, because it reminds me of Silverstreak and silver is my favorite color and anything. [[image:d_pad_cb_1.jpg:Controller:center:0]] His went together perfect. Mine was fraught with all sorts of problems. The LEDs didn't work, then it stopped staying connected for more then a minute a time, so I thought I had somehow busted it. So I bought a used controller, carefully assembled it again, and this time it worked perfectly! Nice little present for me. But just on a whim I put the now shiny-less one into the shell of the now shiny one and it started working perfectly again too! Weird! So I'm not sure if I just want to sell it back to them or keep it as a spare. Got lots of yummy food which I will eat like cookie monster, even the pasta, oh yes. Got back into things today of course, because computer problems never, stop, never rest, never falter for an instant. And who is there to stem the tide? The beat back the darkness? Me, duh! Four done today, and four calls. Huh. Totally easy stuff today, easing right back into it like a hot springs on a cold winter day in Japan. Did the shopping today of course, can't go without provisions. Last night when I went to bed the ground was totally free of snow. When I got up there was about three inches. I was like, where the heck did all that come from? It's three days late! My first was at 1:00. 40 minutes away, exit 1 off 490. Yuck. Shared a printer for three laptops, looked at a few other little things. Then one that was dead-dead. Just the power supply though, I changed it and it fired up. Then just setting up a router so they could get their xbox online. Welcome to the addiction, as Mizzy once said to me. Then back to deliver the iMac and HD combo, hope it keeps working but at least her stuff is backed up now. Last night I played some borderlands with Sean. Much more fun with another person, though it's a good game in its own right single player. But multiplayer is where it's at. Probably doing some ODST tonight, hence the early entry. I'm going to go get ready for tomorrow, make calls, etc. right now. Already have one scheduled, it'll probably fill up the whole day and maybe one for Wednesday.
