2021-06-03:

Fri:
As expected, nothing exciting at work.
Wrote up more of the adventure. But is it a good adventure?
Worked on a character, the new demongate high one. But is it a good character?
Did the shopping, saw my parents just back from Ohio.
Then came home, put stuff away, checked sites, and ran game. But was it a good game?
They took the most dangerous thing I could think of apart in less than a turn.
To be fair, I forgot to make them roll the starting RES check which I'm sure they would have passed easily, and I think I forgot to divide damage on the second attack because I'm stupid. I just have so much to keep track of, and the numbers that are getting thrown around are ridiculous so...
But the game may be over anyway. So there. They went ahead and closed the portal into the dream realm that was giving them all their powers, so they all woke up without powers. No magic, no angels, no demons, nothing. Way to go guys.

Sat:
Got ready to go, checked sites, and went to my 10:00. Very easy, somehow "connect automatically" got unchecked and that's why the wireless didn't work.
Came back, cleaned out my bed stand, something I had left over from a week or two ago. It's where I keep things from my past. Remembered my past. Both good and bad.
Had lunch. Did the weeding. I am completely loaded... with tiny baby fuzzy caterpillars! They're all over. Don't think I have any milkweed this year though, which is weird. Had lots of it last year, and I left the seed pods so they should have opened and just been all over. But none that I can see. Weird.
Not sure if I want to move berry bushes yet or not. I don't want to kill them as they have blossoms now. Maybe I'll wait until after I get the berries off them. Maybe I can save some and plant them, see what happens. I see a couple of young plants I could move though, so I may do that yet.
Went over to Sean's. Didn't get through the whole next adventure but we did make it to... the future? Had a yummy dinner by the hosts, thanks again!
Watched a movie after Alisa left.

Sun:
Got up at 8:30 to start the print. It's now 1:30 and it's coming along perfectly. Really, couldn't be going better. I'm really happy with it thus far.
Meantime I dug trees out of the berries area, and moved more tiny berry plants over there. I had found more over in the neighbor's area, so I hope they all live. Moved one berry plant that was too near the edge back a bit. I decided not to move any big plants yet.
Weeded too, it's no wonder the berry bushes died out really, those leafy things back there have really dense roots.
Watched videos, checked my Sunday websites.
Finished one of my folder games.
6:30, still going strong. I might actually pull this off on the first try.
Got ready for tomorrow and did some warframe.
While playing the build finished. It needs a tiny bit of cleanup, but I think it's great. I'll glue it together and that's 2/3 of the Christmas crunch gone before the year is even half over.
Mon:
Day off!
Cleaned up the print. Took pictures.
Played another game from the folder, as the one I had been playing was like "Gaia is behind it all. I'm sending you back in time to play the whole game again, until you are powerful enough to defeat her." Oh really? How about no? I'll just play something else.
Checked sites, did some reading.
Then worked on my character for the Miracle game a little. Rolling her nationality informed me greatly of her charcater, as she rolled Yemen. Reading up on the place was depressing. Can we just, I don't know, stop killing each other for two minutes? Maybe work together? No? Oh, okay. Great.
Got a phone call, but he's not ready for me yet, so why bother calling me? Called him back. Yup, he's not ready for me yet. So pointless.
Also talked to my favoritist person, Ellen. Spent a half hour once again going over how to make a folder. That's what, five times now?
More reading, oh and looking into Muslim beliefs and practices for my new Demongate High character.

I guess you might say I took today off.

Tues:
Welcome back to work. Not much has changed since last week. Still waiting for the voice people, still waiting for new stuff. It's inventory time I guess, so Ken is moving stuff around. Things that haven't been in my room for years are returning because that's what the IP address says. He says that's easier than adjusting the IP. I suppose it's not wrong?

Otherwise, nothing interesting to report. Wrote the next chapter of the iron dwarf book.

Came home, got the battery in for the macbook. The second one, if you'll recall. So emailed him.

Checked sites, watched videos. The usual.
Then warframe.

Wed:
Another day without much to do at work. At least we'll have some meetings tomorrow, that's always is a bunch of fun.
Does fun come in bunches? Barrels? No, laughs come in barrels. Well, someone get back to me on that.

Wrote the next chapter.

Came back here, one call, iPhone guy from before, I guess he got his phone. Wants Saturday. The battery guy wants friday. Ugh. I guess I could do 6:00 it only took a few minutes last time.

And warframe.

Thurs:
There was a result! The voice system guy got me some new certs and a new app and with some fiddling by a guy on the development team I actually got to log in. It was 2:26 by that point so I didn't do anything else, just went to the meeting. But still. I can finally start testing this freaking thing. Hurray. After a month of nothing, finally something.

Otherwise not much, had the usual meetings, wrote about the weird duplicate bugs our bug system seems to have created. Oh and I looked into something for Kevin, some error message page that prints when an email doesn't go through.

Thought about an answer Sean wanted and that was basically the day.

Got home, one call, sigh. Though oddly it's 4 minutes away from the iPhone setup guy saturday so I'll just go down the street that day and get them both done sequentially . She says her machine is just acting up, we'll see what happens. She admits to having Norton, there's half your problem right there.  I'll get ready for tomorrow and see what else comes my way tonight.

Looking to the next few days we've got tomorrow to write up bugs for the voice system. It's the 3 year anniversary of getting fiber. (already?) I'll do the shopping, get gas, and see my parents. Run my last game for a few months, as Jon goes away. Hopefully we get through it all.

Then I have at least one job saturday and probably a second at this point. Have my parents over for a movie.

That all seems about right.
