Yea Me! I totally estimated the federal like a champ. And with the new weird credity thing of $400 I would have even gotten money back! But upon the form was checked "just keep it, I'll be sending that to you anyway" but at least it's done. The state I owe a hundred bucks to, guess my 20%->10% of that didn't work out as well as I had hoped. Still better then what I owed last year. But that was today. Did anything interesting happen the last three days?

 

Not much work wise. I did the one on Saturday that was just a kind of clean out. No problem.

 

In the game Friday we killed Metatron thanks to the "made you look" card played by Mizzy. It could have gone so much worse. Even as it is, someone would hit him for major damage and he would almost instantly heal it back up again. But the world is safe once again, thanks to us.

 

The saturday game found us facing Goblins who stole our stuff. Why Sean felt we needed a combat that would go on all night is beyond me, but of course our getting side tracked, as usual, all the time, didn't help. Oh well.  

 

Remember that little project of mine, making the one shelf the largest collection of stuffed Pac Man figures ever? And the bringing in of the other shelf unit and setting it up? Of course you do, you hang on my ever word. Right? Right? Anyway, don't go thinking I stopped there. No-no-no-no I did not. In fact I moved around pretty much all my shelves this weekend to more accurately group like things together, and make them more esthetically pleasing. And I believe I have succeeded. So that took some time, both yesterday and today. Oh, shook the dust off the stuff too, whew, 8 years accumulation aint the prettiest thing in the world, darling. 

 

Of course, not everything survived. Things that just didn't fit anywhere, or weren't doing anything for me visually, or that I just didn't want to look at for awhile went in a box to go upstairs. Maybe someday I'll go through the boxes up there with actually chucking stuff in mind, but that just seems a bit too radical. Plus I would need a dumpster. A large one.

 

Hopefully mom moves to her intermediate cast this week. Keep that foot raised, mom!

 

Starting working on updating my grandmother's co-op book. I was tired of her whining about it, and she just had it all messed up because apparently, putting a space after a number and then quote around "something with more then one word" and then a number and then a space and then another number is just too hard. She's only done it for years. So it was either get her a new machine that could run a program I would compile on my machine or get some crappy old machine around here loaded with the developer tools. I do have a G4 in the basement I use for maps and OS 9 games (rarely) which was running all of 10.2. I got it upgraded to 10.3 and got the IDE loaded and actually got it to compile down there! I've made some changes already, like taking out the requirement that each item be a separate number and breaking the one text area into four so it'll be harder for her withered brain to make a mistake while entering stuff. (She's my grandma, I can say stuff like that.) I'm hoping to consolidate the pages automatically (it was written for my mother who does things one way, but she does them another, and that's also caused some issues) so when she adds a new number it'll automatically go to the end of the book, and have the next number already put in. It'll change how the document is processes so I'm going to have to study the code carefully so I don't mess it up. Hey, it's been a LONG time since I needed to look at this code, you know. Good thing I'm a good commenter. (I think)

 

Only one call the entire weekend? Huh? It wasn't that nice out, was it? I have a new car to pay for, can't be going and drying up now!

 

And he wanted Wednesday, so I've got nothing for tomorrow. Well, I tell a lie, I can get Star Wars Guy his machine back. But it's just the shopping on the calendar now. I'll probably work more on the co-op thing in that case. She told me three times in the span of about a minute she "needed those papers back" like I was going to burn them when I was done making sure the items she sold were properly marked as I can't be sure what she was doing. So I want to get this done.

 

Sean said if he finished darkbolt up early we might play borderlands, so we'll see.
