Guess my idea that business was about to improve was a bit premature. My whole wonderful job in the whole of today was to drop off a battery. Whoopie.
So I used the time to seal the deck, then ate lunch. Called mom about painting the upstairs, but paint was not yet purchased, thus, I painted a door downstairs and the three windows. At least I can say I accomplished something.
Put the hood of my car up to cool the engine off so I could change the oil, and then forgot it until ten minutes before 7:00 when I looked out there and said, oh yeah, oil.
This was three minutes before it started to rain, for ten minutes, meaning I got to change the oil in the rain (I had already started, after all) then right after that the rain stopped.
That's how the universe works.
One job for tomorrow, moving Margret's files from one machine to another. That's at 10:15. Hopefully by then Mom will have bought paint and I'll just head on over there (it's just down monroe anyway) and get started on that.
Oh, and the lady with the fast/slow machine is BSODing again, so once she finds her office disk I get to reload that machine for free, which I'm sure will be fun.
