That's right, friends and neighbors, 95,199 words later, my third book, Lonely Divide has been completed. I guess I should more accurately say the rough draft has been completed, because I still must read it over and edit anything not to my liking. Still, go me!
Work has been decent, several jobs every day, the most recent of which was today, a person who had a whacked out volume control. Also she was trying to install a piece of software which wouldn't stay on English. I thought maybe it was the keyboard (it was a laptop) but removing it didn't help. So I pulled the mouse and that worked! Weird, it must have been scrolling or something? But web pages didn't scroll, so why would it?
I have a box of mice, so I gave her one. Because she was very cute and nice and I wanted to. When My Buddy wanted a mouse I charged him $5.00 because I hate him and insomuch as I do not wish harm upon any living creature of the earth (save mosquitoes) I hope he dies in a fire. He's called me just about every day this week to talk about how his cleaning service broke his laptop, his T.V. and told his landlord the antibiotics he was taking were controlled substances. Of course if they were doctor prescribed pills, why where they not in a little orange container with directions written on them?
Personally I believe the entire thing, plus his tales about the guy in prison he writes too, and his other "boyfriend" on the side are complete fabrications, but he says they're evicting him at the end of the month, so we'll see what miracle keeps that from happening in a few days/weeks.
There's a chipmunk in my house again.
Got Ellen's system upgraded to SP3 without incident. I guess she won't need the SSD I bought for her machine after all, I'll have to find some other person to sell it to. I'd use it myself, if I could figure out how. I tried making a direct copy of my working system onto another HD to test it, but I just can't seem to get it to work. Oh well, guess I'm stuck where I am, Hackintosh wise, for the moment. It's the price I pay for building my own machine, and it's not so bad.
Game this Saturday, and last Saturday went well, I should add. We rescued the dragon from being killed but didn't really learn any more about the situation, which I guess is kind of pathetic for a whole night of gaming, but that's how we roll! Going to discuss the new Shadowrun game then go to the capital of Pyre for some reason, mainly to have two weeks on the road so I can learn some of these spells I bought, I guess? I'm not really sure why we're going there.
Sean started his new webcomic this week too, so that should be good.
My grass isn't growing, but I have a million really tall dandelions. But then, so do the neighbors, so at least I'm not the only one.

Having Mom and Dad over to see Avatar tonight, as Dad expressed interest after seeing I had it, when I had them over to watch the Muppets movie.
Oh yeah, got my tooth all fixed up. Quite painless, both for my wallet and for the tooth. It must have been just the tiniest bit of decay, he was all *zip* *zip* and it was done. Hardly worth the effort, I would say. But then, I'm not the expert, am I? Not in that, anyway.
Time to leave to see the Aged One, so I can get my happy-happy-fun-time quota for the week filled.
