Well, I tell a lie, I have a new Nintendo power, and a new Macworld. Of course, who has time to read? I've got sinning to do!
Anyway, both appointments today were a total waste of my time. The morning one, "well, I don't know where it went" the virus that was "not letting him do anything" was MIA when I got there. And of course Ellen had messed her machine up herself by giving it a static IP for some bizarre reason.
Protip: If you are messing with your machine because "someone told me to", make a note of what you did so you can UNDO it later!
Otherwise today I tried to stay cool, and worked in the basement on the system that got dropped off last night. It had two problems, one was the power button sticking, whoops. The other was the CD drive, it won't open very easily. It gets stuck on something. Disassembled, it'll open fine. But put the cover on again and it's *chunk* (not opening). Sigh. So that's a bummer.
I also came up with the expanded plot for my next run of DgH, and worked a bit on Heather's B-Day gift. I even remembered to put the bow on!*
Made some calls, booked all of tomorrow with four, and two are right down the street from one another.
Have to get ready for tomorrow, we're going to play some more War for Cybertron, which is pointless as "no one can defeat Starscream!"**
