So I leave to go to my 9:30, and thusly I arrive at my 9:30. Well, the street of my 9:30, anyway. The house number was supposed to be 61. Well, there was a 31. There was a 51. There was a 71. There was no 61. When I got home and called him (the brother of the guy I was going to be working for who called me) he gave me the new number of his address, but the old street address. Great! Thanks a bunch. The street is near Sean's where I'm going Saturday, so right before then it is! So I continue on my way to my 11:30 which now has become my 10:00. Thank goodness she was there. Odd problem. General shenanigans, but perhaps relating to the hard drive? But the RAM test, CPU test, drive test all gave the thumbs up. The machine stuck out it's tongue at me and I lost the HD once, so, what? So I moved it over to the other SATA port and the machine found it again. Ran another hour with no problems. Hopefully it continues running like that. Odd to have one SATA port go bad though, never had that experience before. Got home about 12:30 from there, checked my web pages for the day, ate lunch. Left at 1:30 again. I misunderstood what she wanted, or she didn't know how to explain it to me, but I thought she wanted to get add a cellular modem and get rid of her RR connection. Turns out it was the opposite, she wanted a router hooked up and her cell service discontinued. Once I figured that out it was easy to do. Ugh, back home again, my 4:30 was pretty close to my house so why not? Found a new webcomic I really liked so read a bunch of that (I know, I'm a slacker) Then went out again. Just answering some questions for the guy. Doing games both Friday and Saturday this week, though the Friday one is going to be done over Skype, so at least I don't have to go over there twice. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going, but two hours of driving back and forth there in one week is a bit much. Anyway, good thing I don't have a girlfriend to get in the way of all this geektime! :( The nice thing about doing it here is, if I ever get enough willpower to draw the two comics I need to this week, I can color them while gaming! I know, I've chided Mizzy for doing that, but here's the thing: they can't see me. It's like reading at the dinner table. It's fine for me because my cats can't hold a conversation. But if someone was here who could- different story. Eight calls today. This week doesn't seem popular though, I've got tomorrow booked with another four, but only one for Friday, two for saturday, but like four next week already? huh? No Ellen tomorrow, she called to say it was working again. Thank goodness. So my one for friday morning went to that spot. I've put everything together for tomorrow (route, lunch) so tonight is either more zombie blasting or drawing. At least it better be.
