It was made. To begin, about a month or two ago I was looking something up and stumbled across a Cocoa With Love article that created an asteroids style game entirely with Core Animation. As I am redoing a screen saver in core animation and hit a wall, I saved the link for later.
I have since returned to it, and it proved hardly useful for my problem. BUT it did make me keep thinking about it, and I figured out what I was doing wrong, and that block has been overcome. He now animates properly, runs the maze, hits ghosts, loses lives, starts a new maze, everything. I think all I have left to do is put in the other two "themes", lock-n-chase and K.C. Munchum, the other two sprite packages I had before.
I had originally five appointments today, because of course if a man comes to you, says he's been wandering the desert for many days can he please have some water, you drop him in the middle of the ocean. But then one canceled, at 12:30 AM, yes that's morning time, okay buddy. The other called me back previous to that and said he worked it out is the manner I suggested. So there.
So that left me with three, all not very exciting, all in all. A cleanout, not that it was totally necessary but he said stuff was happening, so....
Then at 2:30, Karl, the wall socket the router was plugged into apparently died, at least the top outlet, no lights when it was plugged in there. Bottom one? Okay. And of course the machine was all messed up so I straightened that out.
Then the last one, again, an unplugged router, and she had like 6 IE toolbars, and malwarebytes found a bunch of stuff. Where did her antivirus go? I know one was put on, I've been there several times. She had two tiny grey dogs, one even smaller then Squeaker. They were so very, very, very, very excited to see me.
Then home in time for supper. No calls today but Lou? With some crap about an Avery program and if I had one? Yeah. Then I pounded out code for three or so hours and now I'm writing this. I'm a simple man, with simple needs. Unlike my neighbor, who has his TV on constantly and thus, is probably parked in front of it. Me, I prefer the simple pleasure of yelling "why doesn't that work? It should work! There's no reason you should be half a cell out of alignment, Pac Man!" to a tiny yellow circle moving across my screen. To each their own.
So two for tomorrow, let's keep them coming, folks.
