Got the new D4.0 build in. SSO was fine, managed to do both models in a day (the color and the black and white) we don't typically test each speed within each family so altalink testing is typically the fastest. Unlike VersaLink testing, which is the absolute worst. But I digress. Card xml upload not so much.
Did what I could for upload, checking the page out, seeing if most of the functionality worked. Sadly, the main bit of the upload puzzle, the actual upload, not working out so much. As that's kinda the point my testing is stuck at the moment. I wrote that and three other bugs up. Working!
Transferred money around at the bank. Put my two IRAs together into one giant IRA CD for 2 years. I figure that's $10,000 worth as long as I can keep putting in $5000 a year and as the interest isn't anything in any case, eh, keep it that simple I guess.
Got cat treats.
Got groceries.
Got Gas.
Then over to see my parents.
Home for game. Big fight! Didn't start as early as I hoped because my internet was flaky for an hour. First time that's happened since I got greenlight. Been fine since, worked all night, what the heck? Not as big as I had hoped, I wanted teh first fight to be just a warm up to see how they would actually fight, and use that against them in the second fight with the boss. Whoops, they worked around the second one because I forgot Jon had a power to just pluck someone from wherever they were. So he did that, they didn't go to the airport and have the big confrontation with the boss. Oh well, they got introduced to the dream world instead, so there.
Sat:
Cleaned up.
Went out to see about the internet problem that didn't exist. Her machine was fine, got right on, though she claimed it had not earlier. Sure, sure it didn't. Answered questions for her husband though so it wasn't a total waste of time.
And went to see barky dog lady, she was back on the internet, and I again told her to stop using IE. Also put the buttons on the bottom of her phone because no one can handle the slightest amount of change and later android uses gesture based controls.
Back here, thought about next adventure a bit. I think I've got the beginning of one anyway.
Wrapped my father's gifts.
Parents came over. Tried to fix Hackintosh, sewing machine, and watched movie.
Then some Warframe.

Little more warframe to get some parts for the gun I want to build.
Set up iMac and copied data to it to give to parents. Think it's a better approach than trying to fix this one, though it's been a good little machine for a good number of years now.
Checked sites, the usual while I waited until it was time to go over to my sister's house. Wrote up a little more of the adventure.
Got ready to go tomorrow as I knew I would be home late after the game. I was, so I was ready to just go to bed without any fuss.
Did one mission in Warframe and picked up my new pistol. Had to sell my old pistol, as I ran out of inventory slots for weapons. But I could buy more for premium currency! Uh, no. Thanks. Getting my next little robot companion friend is going to be a chore. I finally got enough whatevers to build a "Forma" which looks like a puzzle piece. That's a piece of the little robot friend. But the next piece needs XXXX which is built from XXXYYY. I have lots of XXXYYY and the two other bits needed to make XXXX. However, I need ten XXXX which each require a bunch of a hard to find drop of Plastids I think it's called. So that's going to be a lot of running around Mars doing the same mission over and over to get a pile of that stuff. So that should be fun I guess?
Watched the big game, on the big screen. Strange that streaming it brought it in better than over the air broadcasting it. Thanks for DTV it's working out great!
Got back late and went to bed.

Did a task for Louis, the clean hands thing doesn't work if you have an incorrect DNS setting. Which is to be expected, nothing else would work either. I don't know why this is a shock to people.
Also loaded up the voice system stuff so if they can get me the cert (which our people say is the current issue) I can get on that. I sent them an email about it, and they're busy with something else so it may be towards the end of the week.
Oh, also looked at the current celevio problem, they can't get into the machine to put something onto it. Our people think it's a time zone issue, which really we should account for? So that seems odd.
Found out altbooting the device solves the upload problem with the newest D4.0 which is quite curious. So I did that, and was able to fully test that machine and the feature seems to work. Upload a file and you get a new card type enabled. Good luck pushing it to a fleet though, you have to do it per machine.
Thought about and made notes for the game on Friday.
Stayed a half hour late as my after work person wanted 5:00, took a call from the credit union that finally solved my blank accounts page issue. Had to hit a "reset view" button. Why? Why did I have to do that? Still, it's been plaguing me for months so I can finally see all my transactions again.
Dropped off the laptop, she didn't want anything put on it, so I just left again.
Came back here, ate dinner, checked sites, got ready for bed. One call, laptop lady, I'll have to order her another one, or she may want to get a new one. Like a walmart one for $300? Okay, if you like junk. I guess enjoy something without an SSD at that price point. She's going to get back to me about her decision. Tried dentist guy back as well, no answer. Fine with me!
Then did games with everyone online.
Tues:
Two things were done today. Both near the end of the day. The first was a test, twice, logging into the onedrive app while someone watched the traffic at the other end. We had to do it twice because it didn't work the first time.
The other thing was, now that we know it's FIPS mode and not upgrade type that causes the issue with uploading the file (it's always fips mode. If it's not a cert thing) I turned that off and finished the test on the original machine. Feature works fine! Apart from, you know, crashing and burning with FIPS turned on. Small thing, I'm sure no one will care.
Not much else exciting I'm afraid. Oh, Xerox has decided to pinch some pennies and won't be plowing 4 of the 6 parking lots. They're forcing us to park in two of them, so I guess that's fine?
Came back here, checked sites, got some pictures together for the game on Friday. No calls (4 hang ups) so that was nice.
Played some Warframe.

Checked to see what build the fix might be in for the LDAP issue, and was pleased to discover I could test it. So I loaded that up via altboot and normal upgrade because I wanted it tested on a machine he hadn't looked at. Just in case the altboot didn't wipe out the files he had manually changed. I should have tested the other machine first, but of course I did not! It seemed to be that the issue wasn't fixed, I was still getting the errors. But I cloned the working machine and it started working. So I guess that worked out. Christina downgraded it to D5.3 for something she sort of realized she hadn't done and that she should have? So then I upgraded it again and it continued working so with the card test done that item is finally off the D5.4 list. Only two more to go. Sigh.
Also helped demo the new file upload feature, that went fine. Did another test on that machine I thought would take overnight but a developer told me of a hidden page to trigger what I wanted to happen on demand, so I was able to do the upgrade test. Did not see the bug. The logs clearly show it but no one can reproduce it. Sigh.
That all took the whole day, so I came home. The usual sites, more work on the game for Friday (making chibis for the combat and writing up a few more notes and such), and made one call. He said it was fine. Yay! My best kind of call ever.

Thurs:
Took some stuff off the list at last! Had a 9:30 meeting, after the 9:00 meeting, this time with Celevio. We finally got the machine synced and I saw that it worked. It's only been a year! Yes, a year. With that done I boxed the units back up, taped the box, threw it into cement, let the cement harden, locked it in a steel box, locked the steel box into an iron box, dropped the iron box into the ocean from a plane, and set the ocean on fire. Yes, I wanted it gone.
I also moved the machine back into our lab from the VIC lab, which I think will make everyone happy all around. Now I shall dance the dance of victory!
Had other meetings, and watered plants. Made more notes for game. Found a pot in the trash and put a plant in it.
We don't have too much until March actually, though I'll have the voice stuff if that ever gets resolved.
Came back here, it had snowed all day so I cleaned my driveway out.
Changed the batteries in my smoke detector.
Got stuff around for tomorrow.
No calls, yay!
Figured out how to cancel my health insurance tomorrow, as I should have my first payment to the new health insurance taken out tomorrow. I know, the cards said 2/1 but given I hadn't had anything taken out of my paycheck yet towards them, I was worried about doing it. Apparently I have almost $200 credits available? That would have cut the cost to just about what I'm going to pay through A+. Why were they never applied? I poked around the site out of interest to apply them, but couldn't find where to actually do that. Weird. Oh well.
Crud, forgot to email the lady about my 401k again! Shoot. I never got any forms from the nationwide site to set anything up. Gurr.
Well, I'll get ready for tomorrow and farm some stuff in warframe I guess. I think I have a good handle on stuff for game if my "players" don't screw everything up in the first five minutes. Hint Hint! I'm joking! I kid the players, they should do what they want. I think I have a good mix of NPCs to talk to, and a slightly more challenging combat for them. They get introduced to more lore, and everybody wins. Apart from the bad guys, duh.
So weekend? Tomorrow? Not sure work wise, maybe I'll get voice system stuff who knows? Otherwise, not sure. Shopping, get gas, see my parents. Haircut. Running game.
Then the weekend, I should:
Make a pie
Do my paperwork from last month
Wipe the tablet I got working that I fished out of the recycle bin at work
What I will do
The monster game with the crew on Saturday.
Not spend Sunday in the arms of my lover.
