So I'm talking on on Sunday, right? Then a buzz and a crackle and I got no phone anymore. No dial tone, no nothing. So thank you Sean for the cell phone, I call Frontier. "They'll be out tomorrow." Great!
Tomorrow comes (that's yesterday for those of you keeping score at home) and they- no show up.
So I call that evening. "Okay, they'll be there tomorrow!" (heard that one before)
But the guy came about 10:00 to show me something had chewed my phone wire and that had shorted out it. Thanks wildlife!
Needless to say, I had no calls yesterday so no work today. WOOARRG.
But I am up to 23,768 words in "No One To Blame". I have to update the homepage with that.
Problem is it might be too short. I'm only a quarter of the way to a book sized amount of words, but I think I've covered more then half the plot I came up with. So the question is do I try to stretch it out artificially, or just leave it as a pint sized novel? I suppose in the age of digital works it's not like you can see how thick it is anyway. As long as it's priced at half a book that's half the size, who could complain?
Also did some cleaning, and found PONIES!

I didn't even know I had these ponies! I was looking at my unicorn collection, because I was cleaning up my purple room, and there, shoved back in the corner were Moonstone and Baby Glory! Well, a place of honor now you shall have tiny ponies. Even if you are pre-G4, you still have a place in my heart.
Two jobs for tomorrow and one for Thursday. Not catching up this week...
