No longer must I rub sticks together and pray that Orb gives me fire, for my prayers have been answered! Yeah, yeah, don't get too excited, though it looks like it might be "not total crap" vis a vi the weather, it's still not spring. So, what adventures had me today? Firstly, the usual. Went to staples and walked out with 80 trash bags, 50 CD-R disks, a bottle of glue and two 9 volt batteries without paying a cent. How did I manage such a feet? I mean feat? Did I by chance ninja sneak past the checkout with my huge box of garbage bags? No, no I did not. I gave the cashier a piece of paper with a $30.00 ink rewards on it. So take that, capitalism, I bartered for those items, so hah! Nothing else too fun, library for three comics (two already read). Bank. Bought two kinds of cat food for Miss Thin and Troublemaker. Then onto work! Just a sort of tune up first, she didn't have any real problems, so I just updated everything, and took out her Norton that was going to expire in May and gave her Security Essentials instead. Then over to my buddy Lou, who's problems are, sadly, mostly in his head. I did sell him a floppy drive though, better order another! *snicker* Then home for a bit. Checked my daily sites, then out to go see Bobby B, some weird AOL mail issue. Give it up already. Then over to Fax Lady, and I checked the manual, and we called the home phone will the cell, and it answered, so I'm not sure what was going on before. Her husband said he was having sound problems, I had to reload the drivers. 70+ MB for a sound driver? Good thing broadband exists, I tell ya. Came back home, just in time for dinner and then my... one phone call. Well, I have tomorrow booked anyway, so no big deal. Got a delivery of two DVD-RW drives, a 1tb HD for Stew, and a laptop HD I'm currently loading into a compaq laptop as I write this. XP is done, it's just doing iTunes right now. Looks like it'll be fine. So I still have another laptop to look over tonight, and perhaps some borderlands to play, so I'm out!
