So, almost as smooth as yesterday, but no reorganization on the fly to optimize the path traveled. It happen. Over to the carpet guy first thing to set up his new laptop. Half an hour more then I planned because vista sucks. So I was half an hour late to my 11:00, which I thought I was cleaning out but in reality had a BSOD with my most favorite Unmountable Boot Volume. CHKDSK three times and it was fine. Updated a bunch of her programs, that went well. Dropped off the machine I had looked at for the lady who was gone for a week. Done. Went over to see about the VPN, which I still can't get to work. Even running the installer as "administrator" gave her the error. Tried to just use the built in Vista one, but according to the logs, there was no connection when she tried at all. Great. I'm looking into a free "cloud" storage solution but all the free ones I've seen LIST free on their price page, but then when you go to sign up, no sign of any free options anywhere. Yeah, great. I hate having things hanging over my head, and this darn VPN thing is really ticking me off. Set up another new laptop for a guy after that. Answered questions. He's still using eudora 7 for his mail. Ugh and a half! Lastly loaded a printer driver and made sure the users were deleted on a machine going back to an ex-husband after a divorce. Sad thing, divorce is. Home at 6:00. Ate dinner. Had six calls. Super. Great, another jammed full day tomorrow. My father wanted my help tearing half his roof off, that's not going to happen I guess. They are calling for rain pretty much all day, can't do it in the rain, you'll fall off and kill yourself! And one for friday already. Oh look, it's the end of the month.
