Fri:
Looked into bug. Gee, what else did I do? Anything? There was something else right?
Wrote up two more characters, still have some good ideas after all. Not to worry, I should have more exciting things to write about soon, maybe in two weeks?

Went to get cat food, didn't have much litter but at least they had some cat food. Only one plastic tub of the dental treats, why are those so hard to come by? Amazon hasn't had them in months.

And getting the usual gas, groceries, saw my family thank you for the gifts, went home to do Warframe.
Which I did after putting stuff away and taking care of sites. Canceling game was the right move.

Sat:
Wasn't as bad as I feared. Got the transfer done in record time! SSDs for the win. It did get stuck with like 32 files to go and just sat there, but I forced it to close and didn't care anymore. He didn't have too many annoying questions so I was out of there in a little over two hours. He could actually find his checkbook this time so I got paid for the TV stand legs and last time, so that's a thing.
Back for lunch. Sites.
Out again for Mac lady. Updated and backup and such, oh my. Most everything she wanted done was going to take hours, like she had a backup drive she had never really taken out of the box. Uh, okay? So I got that set up. After it was done I told her to start the upgrade, then she could run mbam and put her VPN software on. Lots of stuff just won't run on 10.11 anymore. She had all 3 subsequent upgrades downloaded, why you no install them, lady?
Back here. Sites and movies from yesterday before game, had only an hour.
Looked into the atari my sister gave me. It works! Yay! Had to figure out the door needed to be closed for it to power on. That was a scary thing, I thought it had broken in the time I first plugged it in and the next time because I wanted to see what it did without a cartridge in it. Figured that out, looked around and found an Atari 400 game of my own I tried. It was an interesting concept, a side scrolling space shooter but your "extra lives" are right there on the screen with you. So if you don't defend them, they can get blown up too. But if you lose the ship you are controlling, another just flies to replace it. Never really seen a mechanic like that I don't think.
Game. We beat up bad guys, had a party, met some wolves, beat up some witches, then headed to Buffalo to beat up someone from Nix's past.

Sun:
No taxes, silly mom! She double booked so I got a week reprieve.
Lost an hour. Where did it go? Oh right.
Checked sites, videos.
Cleaned.
Looked at trackpad. I turned the machine on and it was fine. Stupid PCs, though I suppose if it's hardware related a Mac would not fare better. But if it isn't....... How to tell? Called her, she eventually got back to me and said change it anyway because it does that.
Put in checks.
Sent corrections to Sean, put new stuff in my optional rules about super heroes.
Watched a movie.
Watched some Dragon Quest finally after 20+ years of waiting. I'll finally be able to see how it ends.
Made phone calls, booked Tuesday and this Saturday. I already have one for tomorrow.

Mon:
Slept in an hour, was surprised I didn't get up at the normal time, I'm pretty good about that?
Changed the trackpad, looked at the CPU as the guy again brought me his system.
Moved the car so the garage opener man can come.
Waited for the opener man. Nice, came at 10:30! I should be back to work before noon. Yay?
Done by 11:45, ugh, the button is in entirely the wrong place. I should have told him about it. I'm dumb.
Went to work, uh, didn't have any work to do. Sigh. Looked into a supposed feature for Kevin about deleting address book entries from the local UI. Don't think it actually exists.
Went to second work. Ugh, her machine was slow. More than 30 minutes to run mbam, and her zoom problem was fixed just by upgrading zoom. Dudes, if your old client won't connect, maybe give that as an error message instead of just "yeah, check your network, LOL." It's not helpful. But man, that machine was slooow.
Finally got back at 6:00, did the usual sites and ate dinner. No calls, yay!
Warframe.

Tues:
Only one exciting thing at work, the meeting with the voice guy. No resolution though, he's asking questions about the D5.4 product but didn't get an answer yet.
Made two more villains, they just keep coming!
Went out to install office, did so. No problems, it wasn't as slow as yesterday.
Picked up a small bookcase! Set it up in the living room.
Two calls.
Sites, dinner, made my calls. One for an hour about a full drive and gmail and thunderbird for a lady now living in... she said but darned if I can recall after her husband was out of work for 14 months. Whoops. She used to live around here.
And warframe.

Wed:
My manger was out so my manger manger talked to me to get the contact information for my a+ contact and "didn't" tell me something important. Then I called her (she called the home number not the cell?) and she told me what I already knew.
I didn't like what she had to say, so I don't think I'm going back to work next week in protest.
Actually it was her idea.
Actually I'm being "furloughed" for a week to help "the bottom line." Like, really, Xerox not paying my salary for a week is going to make so much of a difference. So much. Hey, here's an idea! Let's not pay our CEO for 5 seconds. That would be about 20x my salary and then I still get paid. How does that sound? He could take off a single day, cover everyone on "furlough" and he wouldn't even notice. I might. They say I can claim unemployment, and really Xerox pays into the fund for this exact reason (which, again, if they just paid me that, but whatever) but who knows if I'm even eligible because of that $50 a day I might make from the other business? Everything is so dumb.

So I thought about projects I can do next week when I'm home.
Otherwise, no news on the voice system so I didn't have much. Worked on an encounter.
Drove half an hour to hook a printer up to wi-fi. Had to reboot the printer, it didn't find any signal before that. Oh, HP, you scamp.
Drove back home. Sites, videos.
Two calls, the lady from saturday with the mac, she claims she lost documents, which may be an office thing? I didn't realize (and forgot really) about the whole 64/32 bit thing. Sigh. Why wasn't office 64 bit from the start? So I have to go back there.
And 45 minutes with my bestest ever pal dentist guy, who claims his calendar doesn't sync (so just use the phone one, stupid) and that the official directions on the verizon site for his model of phone aren't showing what they say they do. So I get to go back there. So great. One of these I will not mind going back to. Which one do you think? (hint, it's the one with the cute girl)
By then it was 9:00. Got ready for bed and did some reading.

Thurs:
Meeting day! Nothing really exciting to talk about, we had the demo of the card list customization in D5.4, so we should be seeing the code for that soon enough.
Made another bad guy and refined one I had made before. I now have about 3 months worth of plot.
Watered the plants. Should I go next week at some point or just let them go? They survived Christmas week.
Made the appointment for the kitties, I hoped to get next week but the earliest was second week of April. Really, if they're going to pull something like this, at least give me more than a few days notice so I can actually plan stuff around it. I mean come on!
The Mac lady didn't call, so I stayed home. Sites, the usual.
Got a few calls today, but some were easily answered.

Future time!

They must be going to put new poles up in the neighborhood, I've got one in my yard.
Supposed to be nice and sunny the next few days.
Tomorrow is the usual, not sure what work I'll do. Gas, groceries, seeing my parents.
One call was to cancel Saturday so I went down to two appointments, the one lady that wants a printer hooked up wanted Tuesday of next week, and hey who do we know that's not doing anything all week? *points* This guy.

Apparently new processor guy is coming over, his processor came I guess. Third time's the charm? I highly doubt it.

Watched more Dragon Quest. Making me want to return to that dragon warrior story I started writing a long time ago.

Processor guy came over, guess what? What? It didn't work.
