So my morning one was a "virus" which turned out to be the Ask toolbar changing the guy's homepage. The amusement came from the knowledge he "purchased" some bizarre program called "MP3 Rocket". An odd name for a program if ever there was one. So I opened it, and what to my wondering eyes should appear? But a java loading screen like another, I fear! Sorry, still in holiday mode. Anyway, it was just a limewire clone. Of course he had "limewire pro" which you have to buy, so congrats on buying a piece of software, twice, that is open source and free. SUCKER! Oh, and he uses it over dial up? Welcome to 2010, we have this thing called "broadband"… Anyway, that only took me half an hour. But at least I made $5 more then I would have last year! Came back home. Started comic number 2 of series six. Checked my sites, ate lunch. Thought my second appointment would be longer as well, but no, just some questions and getting paid for getting the website up from last year. Oh well. Came back home again. Finished comic 2. It was 1:00 by that time, still an hour and a half before I had to leave again for my training session. Were I am the teacher. So I put more thought into the HDL Touch redesign, and how I could make the various screens work. Once I had an idea things might work the way I wanted I drew out more detailed screens. Over to the training. She first couldn't find, on the sheet of paper, her skype password. We got that all in. She wanted to sign up for web banking. Took her an hour to fill out the form. Honestly, could you be any slower? As a "teacher" I'm torn between letting her make mistakes so she learns and wanting to disembowel her for making stupid mistakes. She lived, but boy did she make mistakes. Got home, message from Sean! He invited me out to dinner, what's wrong with him? I'll have to watch my drink, you never know with that guy. Two calls at this point. I got some stuff ready for tomorrow, like where I'm going, while I waited for him to get home, pick up Mizzy and leave again. I got xmas gift! A very awesome calendar drawn by Sean and colored by Mizzy. It's a Demongate High calendar, with scenes from stuff that happened to Carlita/Albert. So cool! Got home, had three more calls in the meantime. One person too dumb to know what to do after moving their taskbar to the side of the screen. One person using someone else's wireless connection that was down. And Bill from yesterday, he can't get online with that crap laptop of his I looked at yesterday. SO FUN! So I get to go back over there tomorrow after Grandmas. SO GOOD. So turns out three for tomorrow after all, and a couple for Saturday. Sean day! I've made $40 towards my new car so far this week! Woohoo! That'll buy me... well, not a tire. Maybe the headlight? I'll perhaps find something to amuse myself further with until bedtime. What that shall be I cannot guess!
