Fri:
Fed everyone.

Something at work was not much at all. Helped Christina by answering some oneDrive questions related to her laptop.

Oh and helped Don track down a printer. Ken had taken it home. This was in early 2023. Surprised I remembered that much, I thought it was something like that but wasn't sure.

Worked on season 2 stuff and a little dialog tweaks for game tonight.

Left early, because why not? Mom called in the car. Needed to check their house because the alarm went off. Turned around and went over there. It was fine, cats had knocked all the stuff on the counter off. I petted those I could find and headed to the store. Cider is back!

Checked sites, had dinner.

Ran game. Got maybe halfway through? Whoops? Why did it take so long? We stayed on task. Huh. Well, that's fine I guess. Neil didn't get to do his part, but I at least gave him the homework to look over so he can talk about the gateways next time.

Sat:
Fed everyone.

Came back here, checked sites.

Worked on getting Emberhaven 2 on lulu for printing.
The ordered it.
Worked on the cover, I just made a generic "proof" cover for the first one. No need to get fancy. Later I did work on the real cover, so I would have it ready. Very happy with how it came out. Like it a lot better than the first cover. So there.
Started the downstairs paint job. Painted for 2 hours. Finished only the small middle section. At this speed I estimate it will take an additional 6 hours of work. I may try the larger sections with a roller. Yes, that's the way to go I think. I'll have to buy one, the one for the deck is all yucky. Can't be used for this.
Worked on Mizzy's gift a little.
Then left for game.
We got maybe halfway through it. Another one of those "you don't have enough information to make a good choice" situations. I get it. My pony players (the little ones) had that for most of the campaign. It's sucky. From the other end. I could have phrased that better.

Sun:
Final feeding time and cleaned up over there. Cleaning up is basially just washing the containers out and leaving them to dry. There were no cat food cans, they get dry when my parents are gone now.
Came back here, more blue paint.
Checked sites.
Ate lunch.
Read stories.
More painting. Painting is dry. All done painting. Who needs half a can of blue spraypaint? Anyone? I think the magnet thing is going to work out great! Glad I thought of it. Magnets. How do they work?
Now to carry on with the second part of the gift.
Got ready for tomorrow. Two calls. My phone line is acting up, it's all static. Yuck. Had to call using my cell phone. Sheesh.
Got both squared away though. One gmail password and another 'notifications' attack. Hey browser makers, can we default that awful setting to OFF please? Let people turn it on if they want, but start it OFF because it's just used for spam. You know it. I know it. Let's do something about it. She claims not even to use Edge so how did she get into enough sites in edge to answer "yes" to getting notifications from sketchy sites?

Parents home safely.
Then Xbox with the others. Just daily stuff in Warframe and F.Descendant, but no Remnant II.

Mon:
Verified some bugs in the morning. Sanja sent a list with a request to verify them. Then Joe forwarded the same email that had been sent to only myself and Joe with a request to verify them. I'm like, Joe, I got the email. I see the request. I know how to do my job. I don't need 8 bosses telling me what to do. I got it the first time. Thanks!

But whoops, there's something wrong with that build. Christina loaded it at the same time, for her own reasons. Neither of us could get to the webUI any more. So that shut that down.

I did writing instead. 2.5 chapters. I admit, I cheated. I had already written a lot of the dialog because it was just exposition. That the players needed because they don't watch the show. Those sillies. Anyway, the end inches ever closer. Tomorrow I'll work on the next episode. I think it's okay but I'll need to check.

Did the after work job. It was fine, not sure why she was having the problem a reboot probably would have solved it. Took a look at the other one too. Just... use one PC?

Got a paint roller on the way home.

Then checked sites, ate dinner. Got ready for tomorrow.

Looks like this Sat for the new Veilwood game.

Worked on Mizzy's xmas gift. Finally. Started modeling it. I only need to "model" one then put bones in it, give it a bit of shape, and then print a bunch of them in different shapes. So I got the model done, I think.

Tues:
Fairly busy today, even did some work stuff.

Loaded the newest daily build, it did indeed fix the issue so I was able to verify my bugs.

Also helped with a color table test, loading and printing the t-mobile logo.

Worked on the next episode, making sure I had it ready though I doubt we'll get to it this week.

Then a chapter and a bit of the Emberhaven book 3.

Got a good haul, brought some to my parents.

And came home, that was the day.

Checked sites, had dinner.

Got ready for tomorrow.

Xbox with the others. Remnant II worked. It did not end well. I will not go into detail as to why.

Wed:
Work related things today included the tired old security "training" I must take every year, which just ends with "did you take the training?" Yes/No. No real exam. But once again I am refreshed in my knowledge of how to handle all that top secret data Xerox trusts me with like... uh.... and that ... stuff... other stuff. Yeah. So secure!

And a meeting with the other onedrive guy, we still haven't given the original customer the thing, fair. He says he thinks it's his device, as other EIP apps won't scan. Sigh. He's going to try a different device.

Worked on the pony book. Got one salad, oddly, that I'll eat tonight.

Oh and I helped Christina move a stapler to another device. Good stuff.

Came back here, had dinner. Checked sites.

Thurs:
The usual work meetings today. Could be some onedrive changes in the air, maybe the reason they're having trouble is they do so many jobs in a row the token expires. I would have guessed then all jobs after that point would fail but no, Hunter says maybe that job is done just as the token expires, then they get a new token for the next job? Huh. Okay.

Then the status meeting.

Otherwise just proofing the pony story. Found more things. Glad I'm doing it now, time is swiftly running out.

But Sean is coming around to Season 2?

Came back home, checked sites. Got ready for tomorrow.

Made 3 calls. One scam, easy. A half hour moving someone to yahoo servers (shouldn't that have stopped working in March?) used the "app password" option thank goodness that still exists.

And didn't reach the third person.

But she called me back. Fine. It was just a "warranties are a scam usually, don't get one for a laptop." Quick and easy.

Then I got another call. Yay. Another person with this frontier/yahoo garbage. I guess they're finally cutting people off as they've had since March to do it. And it's the little guy that me that suffers. Anyway, he wants monday.

I did more proofing. I'm up to page 200!

Looking ahead more of the same tomorrow, then shopping and seeing my parents. I'll do game. Talk the griffons, meet the MGGA lady, and get the teleport gateway made and installed. Two more episodes left!

Saturday the only plan is the new game, which won't be anything because the others are making characters. I'll just make the argument to use the character I already made for the one shot when we were initially testing. Doesn't seem like the rules have changed that much.

Otherwise modeling Mizzy's gift, finishing the ceiling, and probably more proofing are on the agenda.  Maybe put in those two invoices I had for last month?

Yeah, that's it. That's the stuff. Paperwork. Best thing to do on a weekend, really.
