2024-04-04:

Fri:
Finished the next chapter. This was heading out to the waterfall that night so Malachite could tell me the news about the research he did into my condition so I can buy off the curse weakness. Hard to justify when I still have magic skills to put XP into but it could be a nice diversion. Oh and he confessed to me as well! Squeeee! Not that I didn't know, given what had come before but a girl likes to hear it said. (So I've been told, I wouldn't know for a variety of reasons)
Had another one drive meeting, maybe some action coming soon? The people making the app have maybe, finally, at long last figured out a way to accept or send or whatever it is they're doing larger jobs. Maybe some kind of chunking? Maybe we should get on that before the customer just says forget it, because it's been months?
Went to the bank, did the shopping, briefly saw my parents. Brought them more stuff.
Put stuff away at home.
Had putine. How could it not be good? Small portion in my opinion though, I could have had a whole other order but then I guess I'm a bit of a pig in any case.
Then game. We cleared this leg of the journey (after 3 weeks) and can move on to leg #4 of 5. Didn't even use violence, we just showed the lord of the land the spirits he was harming and the pollution being caused by the townspeople and he caved like a little baby. Or something like that. Maybe it'll be pirate ships next times? I was promised pirate ships. But as usual it took us the entire time just to do that.

Sat:
Got the plastic all put up in the attic area. I had just enough on the second roll to do it, and I shoved it under the stuff that was already there. So that part is now double insulated. I also saw that past that area is another whole crawlspace! Huh. But it's kind of impossible to get to so it's just all blocked off now. Oh well. Still have some plastic left, I used the scraps from the other side on this side, there's a lot in those boxes!
Checked sites.
Had lunch.
Watched part of a movie.
Then left for Sean's. I won a game about birds, we had pizza, and then did a test run of Sean's new color based system. We rescued a kid from down a hole and beat up some goblins. Thankfully the stealth archer build Neil had was fairly effective, not that much stealth was involved but I've been playing Skyrim again so you know how that goes. My companion hardly did anything! It needs to be more powerful but thankfully, the system allows for that quite easily. It's now "half" as powerful as I am, playing only four more sessions (If a perk is gained every time of course) would put it at a minimum as powerful as me, and then it gets bonuses on top of that depending on how I roll so it would then be far better than me at all rolls. I also forgot to tell him the spirit had "combat master" or whatever it was so it should have been much faster in combat. Whoops! That one was on me. Well, live and learn.

Sun:
Got up fairly late because I was at Sean's way too late last night.
Checked sites, finished the movie I was watching.
Then left for my parent's house. Had a nice easter, though I was quite ready for bed by the time I got home. Two nights of inturrupting my sleep schedule takes a toll on me.
So I got ready for tomorrow, thankfully no calls, and went to bed quite early.

Mon:
Saw Sean wanted to do Xbox the night before. Yeah, I was in bed before you even asked. And it's all your fault anyway for living so far away.
Work time!
Made an appointment on Wednesday to get my tires rotated, as it's been 5,000 miles.
Otherwise, not much. Many people are out this week, I guess school is out? Not sure. Anyway, nothing new came in.
I wrote the next chapter of Emberhaven, we're just about to the point we left off on in game. I could write maybe a paragraph about us flying over there, but we didn't really have a plan for the approach so I'll just leave it.

Did second work. Her machine had one suspicious thing on it from Mbam, and with an SSD the scan didn't take long. Weird, how did they get into her accounts?

Back here I checked sites, had dinner.

I guess the guy didn't get my message on Friday, I'll have to call him back.

I called him back. He got the stuff, he said it was fine.

Tues:
Had some meetings today. Still nothing concrete to give the onedrive people, but we have a meeting on Thursday with the writers so maybe we're making progress towards a solution.

Another Joe meeting as well. And we talked to Gina about what we're testing for her feature. It's not nearly as much as I thought simply because the changes aren't part of the customer request. She said it was Joe's project, but no, it's not. We're not even sure where these changes came from. Sooooo yeah.

Went to see the guy about his TV. Apparently his daughter told him to use the spectrum remote. He wasn't. The TV remote sucked. I told him to use the spectrum remote. He's going downhill, honestly.

Then out to another "cleanout" but it was fine. Slow, it's a PC so duh, but everything was fine. I could have done it remotely.

Tomorrow is tire rotation day.

Checked sites, had dinner.

Wed:
Maybe this feature does have the card reader stuff? Does Gina not know her own project? I don't get it.

Got another big haul today! I know, it's crazy. Gave most of it to my parents. I kept a few sandwiches, had one today and I'll have a grilled cheese tomorrow. More cheesecake too. Living the high life.

Made two new spells, figured out how to make the Nataruk in Paragon.

Then just did more reading. What a slacker I am. I know.

Rained pretty heavily all day.

Got the tires rotated, and changed the break fluid as suggested. No problem.

Came home, checked sites.

No game this Friday? Seems Sean is quite swamped at work.

Thurs:
Met with the onedrive people today, they're getting the fixes ready so maybe in two weeks (ugh) we can have something for the customer. Let's hope they are okay with that delay.

Had the usual priority meeting, Don was out so Christina ran it.

Oh and did one of my annual training, so I know to report maleficence and not commit age related hiring decisions. Good thing they reminded me.

Otherwise finished the latest chapter of breaking the system. Sinjorino designs the magic for their bow and the wizards get to work. Slamming!

Went to get cat food. Very rainy out. No snow though, thank goodness.

Came back here, checked sites, ate dinner. Trackpad guy was late but an hour later I had his two trackpads switched. The one does work better, I will admit it.

Let's look to the future. Not sure if any work will come in tomorrow, but I doubt it. Maybe next week sometime.

Shopping, see my parents. No game like I said before. I'll clean up, make sure I'm ready for the flooring adventure. Get my hammers ready and such. That will be Saturday, probably most of the day. We'll see. I'll be ready for it!

Then Sunday to recover I guess. That should do it for this week. Don't burn your eyes out on the eclipse or anything. In fact just stay home, we don't want you here clogging up our streets. Honest. Bye!
