37 counts. I'm surprised it's not higher, but sure. If each one has a minimum sentence of 5 years, sure, I can live with that. Can't wait until Tues where 'ol Drumphy has to visit the courthouse. He's already calling for violence in the area on that day. Think anyone will show up? They didn't the last time, thankfully. Maybe after all those people got arrested (you know, for treason?) the shine has worn off cultishly following the orange twit.

Anyway, went to work, brought my stuff to my parent's house so it wasn't in the car. Set stuff up there, got another nice haul a whole box. 3 cheesecake, many, many salad. Many sandwiches, very good stuff.

Took the car in. Had to bribe the guy almost $1000 to get it back. And there was something about tires and brakes who knows what that was about. Anyway, slipped him the cash and he put a sticker on the windshield so we're all nice and "legal."

Got back around 11:30.

Worked on trying to figure out why XDM doesn't want to log into the server anymore. It's like sending the wrong username or something but I don't know where it comes from. Sigh.

Did the shopping, saw my parents.

Came back, checked sites, did game. We're sort of back to where we were at the start, but I guess that's progress? This one mission has lasted 3 sessions now, and is still going strong. Are we speedy or what? We fought the river mud man to start this all off, and we're just back to fighting him again because nobody learns anything, especially not us. Are you crazy?

Sat:
Went to the bank, got the CD stuff all taken care of. Now it's just one big CD and not 3 of them. Easier to move money in and out too. Not that I probably would, but I also added another $5000 to it. With the markets still flutating as they are, and the fact I still am in the red there, I'm not buying more mutual funds. But almost 4% isn't actually that bad! And with all of it in the one place, where before I had one that was one percentage, another that was another, it was all over the place. This should help.

Had lunch.
Worked on Sean's birthday gifts. Got them done and ordered.
Put in a new spell into the rules.
Did reading.
Took a little nap.
Left for game. We only played 4 hours, Stan isn't quite back to his old self just yet. Good to see him up and around of course, but there still a long road of recovery ahead.
We watched another Furious movie. Is it becoming Sci-fi? Because we don't have jetpacks and hundreds of self driving cars... yet. So many strange choices and making a few simple choices would negate all tension in the film. Bizarre.

Sun:
Got up, started pulling the laptop apart that Stan gave me. Another MacBook. Needed to look at the battery. Looks perfect? It's a real hassle to change so I guess I won't be doing that. He had some concerns about it, but given it isn't buldging anywhere I think it's fine? And why did they exactly have to glue it down to the case? Very dumb.
Checked sites.
Did the yard work, mowed the back lawn and did the weeds. Another whole cart full. Moved two more tiny berry bushes, and the ones from last week are still alive. I've been watering them every day. Probably helps. We need rain though.
Started the transfer from the old laptop to the new. Finished it too, I had to do some manually because I had cut my old drive into two pieces and it didn't copy the stuff on the second piece. Hey I can use dropbox on it again. Neat.
Put in a new spell and background into the options.
Watched Star Trek that Sean had given me.
1/2 an hour on the phone to get someone back to old looking aol mail, yay. She had my remote client right there on the desktop, didn't need to download it. Sigh.
Didn't reach the other person. They are back from florida and can't get on the internet. Maybe try calling your ISP and not me? Just a thought.
Got ready for tomorrow.

Mon:
Rained all day today, nice and steady. Should be good for the plantoes.

Talked with Don, we worked out what he wanted for the cert thing. I don't need XDM at all, so that's good. Stupid thing, the template was right there when you paste the request in. I never really noticed it before. Sigh. At least it all worked out in the end.
Did the D7.7.1 testing, it's the final release finally. Only had 2 tests to do not 3 as they've made changes to the third one and are not telling anyone about the code in this version. As it's behind a key no one can access it so it's pointless to test it.
Fine with me.
Got it done. Found one issue, but Gina said it was fine, I guess they know it can happen sometimes? I hope she's right. I had two machines set up in what should be an identical way, but got different results. Odd.

Worked on the next chapter, didn't finish it though. It's going to be a fairly long one as it's all the last Poppy missions all at once. I am getting near the end, after all.

Got a few salad, brought them and some other stuff to my parents.

Then came home. Checked sites, ate dinner.

One call, something about email again. Ugh.

Watched an episode of Star Trek.

Started another.

Made an hour and a half of phone calls. Yay. At least I don't have to go anywhere. Getting printer working on 3 machines and some email stuff.

Went back to star trek. Did not finish, did xbox.

Won Halo 3 and did a bit of warframe.

Tues:
No rain today.

Had the 8:00 meeting, but the guy who runs it wasn't in this week. Nice of him to tell us, maybe set up an alternate? Nah, too much work I admit.

Worked on the story. Got the chapter done, then another. I did wind up splitting it, Poppy's last stand, as it was going to be too long. Started on the next chapter, which may be the last chapter, actually.

Had another meeting with customers, showing them how we do certs. They do something else?

Came back here, checked sites. Finished that last episode while I ate dinner.

Wed:
Finished up the Legacy book. 140,000 words. Not too bad. I'm proofreading it now, I'll probably start posting it tomorrow now that it's done.

Work wise, not much exciting. Did go through more cert template stuff with Don. No news on the stuff that was supposed to come in this week, maybe tomorrow? I guess we'll both see. No haul. I did get some bad for you bear claws and other pastries. Nice.

Came back, one call. Checked sites, ate dinner. Watched a star trek episode. Finished the season. It was good.
Worked on a spell, I think I've got the description how I want it.
Made the call. She's in an apartment and loses wi-fi. How much do you want to bet it's interference from a million other wi-fi routers? 10 bucks? Good bet. We'll see.

Thurs:
Worked with Christina on a driver update we have to maintain for some company because we did it once. We don't support it anywhere else. Good times. It works pretty well for the most part, doesn't show duplex capability for every device which is odd.

Also looked into the SNMP command to turn on TLS 1.3. It's one of those awful sequence ones like we had for thinprint. On the machine I tried it on the commands were accepted but the setting didn't change. Odd. Dug out my old script to try it.

Had the meeting.

Did more proofreading.

Went to see the wi-fi lady. Her machine wasn't even aware it had wi-fi hardware. Huh. I rebooted a few times and then suddenly it did. I ordered her a new card, but we'll see if it stays working.

Came back here, checked sites. Had dinner.

Naturally I'll be posting the full story, so you fine readers don't have to wait, once I finish proofreading it. Which I may finish tonight? I'm getting close.

Looking ahead may be some work tomorrow, to get ready for a demo at (ugh) 8:00 AM on Wednesday of next week. I'll have to go in early so I can be sure my PC is warmed up. No lie it takes like 5 minutes to power it on, log in, and finally get windows to a usable state. Usually it's just about done when I log in and go check the garbage cans and get back.

Otherwise writing the chapter for the game we did last Saturday, and thinking about the next book. Yes, I have an idea for it did I say that at some point?

Then the usual, shopping, seeing my parents, and game.

Weekend, ah, I'll have my father over on Saturday for lunch/movie/arcade games? At least lunch and movie.

Sunday will be the usual yard work. Berries are coming in! More plotting? For the book, I'm not taking over the world.

Huh, Monday off, have to entertain myself there somehow. That's about it, for this week. See you all next time!
