fri:
Started testing the versalink 2.0 stuff. Don was all like, we should test that on the other device! And I was all like, but should we though? We have another release we're going to get in just a few weeks that we're going to have to check anyway, we found very few bugs in our testing, is this worth it? He sent me back this huge reply going on and on about it and I was like, whatever dude. You want me to test this, I'll do it. In the time it'll take me to convince you it's pointless, I could have done the test. So I got through 3/4 of it. Surprise, nothing new found. It's so stupid anyway, we have a machine already that looks almost identical to this one, has the same exact features and the same exact speeds. What was the point of making this new device? There wasn't one.

Also met about the onedrive bugs, we assigned the level one ones, though all bugs should be fixed. Change my mind.

Went shopping, got in to the bank and gave my check to the lady, she's going to send it to the company to put it into my new IRA. Set up an auto deposit to it, taking the maximum I can which basically replaces my 401k. It'll just go right in there instead. Not as much tax break but what can you do? Then to get cat food, and saw my parents. Aldi actually had cat food this week, the first time in two or three weeks.

Back here, put stuff away, and did game. We were fairly overpowered for it, this one should be placed near the beginning of the campaign I guess.

Talked about the new card game and called it a night.

Sat:
Two appointments, and I have to go back to both.
1st had no internet account. He's gone back and forth with them, I guess the building he's in has some agreement with Spectrum so he pays it through his rent, and they think he has cable but he insists he doesn't. Anyway, opening a browser now greets us with "set up your account" and trying the phone number and reset password all gave "nope!" so he has to work with them some more. Honestly, unless everyone in the building was having the same issue, why just this guy? He's the type that will talk your ear off, getting away from him was a challenge. He's also a republican and doesn't mind telling you all about it, so not punching him in the face was also a challenge. I rose to both of them.
2nd wants an SSD. Because I just sold my last one, I couldn't do it. Should be quick, she doesn't have anything on the device. But I cleaned it out, somehow the MS antivirus was taking 2GB of RAM???? Huh? Hopefully that's solved. Weird.

Owl House season 1. So good!
Looked at making a character for Monday's game.
Bought FF7 Remake on Steam, as I promised I would. Moved my save games over too no problem, and got rid of the pirate version. Also saw a video on the sorry state of the next "piece" of the "experience." After 3 years the only look at the next game we got was two characters walking around. No gameplay, just FMV. Neat. Thanks S.E. Hey, remember what we wanted? FF7 but with modern graphics, and nothing else? Remember that? I remember. You can't always get what you want. OR what you need. At this pace it's going to be 10 years or more since the project was announced that the entire 3 part series will be finished and playable. Unbeleivable. But I can dream of one day playing the whole thing, can't I?
Warframe, as for some reason Remnant started updating on Sean's side, even though he just opened it showing it was fully playable earlier that day. Huh.

Sun:
Did the weeding. Moved some more bushes to the back, out of the berries. So by a quick count I have 47 bushes back there. Hope they all survive the process. Rose bush is really going all out this year.
Some good berries for next year too, if not quite enough if the back. The ones for this year are coming in, so I should at least have some.
Checked sites.
More CrossCode, oh look the annoying girl that forced her way into my party is back. Neat. She won't betray me, what gives you that idea? Can I just not answer her text? Is that a thing? It's so weird she is hanging around, it just doesn't make sense.
Few more Owl House episodes- so good.
Then over to my sister's house for Father's Day. I need to get him over here and clear out that queue of Dr. Who episodes.

Mon:
Had the day off, watched more Owl House in the morning. Not much else.
Then over to Sean's for the game. We spent quite a bit of time making the characters, but we did get through the very simple adventure. I think he rushed the ending a bit because I wanted to leave at 10:00, which I'm grateful for. It worked out okay, but spellcasters need a separate hand for the spell gestures or something. I don't know.

Tues:
Back to it. As expected got a HUGE haul. 2 big salads, a box of fruit pies, a box of cinnamon rolls, several cookies, a dozen or more sandwiches, one cheese and crackers, I think that's it. Had one of the normal sandwiches today, I have one more for tomorrow. The cookie had almost the calories of the sandwich. Sheesh. I ate it anyway. Brought the salad home and had half of it, as it's for 3 people.
Closed a few bugs, had a surprise meeting pop up on my calendar. Some big team meeting with all of us.
Then another meeting about the fax for the D5.6, should not be a problem it's just a port from the D4.0 code.
Then I finished up the VersaLink as I only had one thing left to do. No problems there.
Got the iPad from Ken, hooked up a router so I could get the printer and that talking. Oddly, it doesn't seem any different from the D4.0 behavior. It prints without showing any errors when the bypass tray is empty. I emailed for more details.
Did more proofreading.
Went to vote in the primary. Went to the place I'm supposed to go for "early voting." No one was there. No signs, no nothing. Went home. Checked the website "for times and locations of early voting" but it just gave the address, not times. Neat. What the actual heck? The dates are June 18-26. Uh, yeah it's the 21st so it's between those dates. 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Yup, I went between those times. Did they just forget?
Watched the rest of season 2. Stupid season 3 only being three specials. BOO DISNEY!
One call but I didn't reach him.

Wed:
Still no onedrive app. They're falling further and further behind, It's a week now. They say the code is complete but the app isn't asking to remember the credentials when you log in. As it's supposed to be a single sign on app, that's sort of the point! So no testing that. Honestly, haven't we learned software deadlines are bunk yet? If it's software, the only thing you can say about when it'll be done is when it's done. That's it.

Not much else. Watched the demo video of the pin login for adding fax. It was short.

Finished proofreading Midveil, so I can start posting it now.

Worked on Sean's gift, got the model almost done, I think!

Still no answer on the iPad thing. I'm going to bring mine tomorrow, maybe an older version will show what we're looking for?

Came back home, still nothing at the voting site. Very odd.

Checked sites, watched videos. No calls, but I still have to call the guy from yesterday. Ate dinner, the rest of the salad from yesterday.

Watched the latest Mz. Marvel. Not moving very fast.

Made my calls. Reached the guy from yesterday, that was fine.
And one of my most favoriteist people called me, a man who seemingly cannot type a few characters on his keyboard. He says he can't get online, but as he can't do something as simple as open a command prompt I can't tell where his problem is. He also says he has greenlight, so okay. But there's no labels on his equipment? Okay... So who knows where his problem is.

So much fun. Dentist and that guy tomorrow, should be a hoot.

Replaced some cards in my deck for Sean's new card game and worked on a better strat for the next time we play.

Thurs:
Dentist day, no major issues. Did that in the morning. Got back at 9:30, figured I missed the Joe meeting. But no, he had canceled it. Nice.

Finished up the 3D modeling, I think. We'll have to see how it all prints of course. But for the moment it's done. It looks pretty good, if it can actually come out the way I have it.

Installed all the stuff I need to do Flutter. My next cross platform adventure as LiveCode is dead to me now. Oh, you want to go open source? And then just shut it down? Great! Bye!

Ran though the first sample project. It comes together very differently than other languages I've used. I don't really have a good sense of where things go and why yet. Hopefully I can find more tutorials.

Had the usual meeting of course, and the OneDrive meeting. Still not ready to deliver, 8 days late. Great work guys.

Watered the plants, and went to second job. Guess what his problem was? Technical? Nope, silly! He got a new credit card and so it was late payment. Nice. Hey, what's the first thing you do when you get a new credit card? Right, think about all the things you auto pay with that card and maybe call/website those companies and give them the new number. Not so this man! He called me, totally useless.

Came back home, checked sites, ate dinner. No calls.

What's up for the rest of the week? I doubt we'll get OneDrive tomorrow so I don't think I have any work-work. So more playing with Flutter. I want to recreate my iSort program first, we'll see how easy/hard that is.

No parents, unless they make it home in time? I don't know if they will. No game, Jon backed out, so maybe xbox stuff.

Saturday is the Emberhaven game, that's still on for the moment. Sunday is my first anniversary with the Bolt, yay! Made it a year. Otherwise the usual, weeding, doing some 3D printing.

Played some more CrossCode, ugh, only halfway through the next dungeon. That's how it goes I guess.
