2022-03-10:

Fri:
Missed the 8:30 copy ui meeting, there was no reminder attached to it. Strange, you have to go out of your way to change it, as it defaults to 15 minutes. Why did the person that set it up do that? Accident?
I may have missed the "meeting started" popup too as I had picked up a package I saw last night in the 111 lobby that was supposed to go to building 207. Weird. No one else does stuff like that I've learned, as I've walked past things for days before finally taking care of it myself. So I just do it right away now. I had to figure out how to get it to them and the person it was for said to just give it to the dock people, which I did right around that time. Usually it's for someone in my building but this one said building 111, building 207 which was odd, so I didn't know how to get it to another building. Christina said I didn't miss much.
Worked on the next chapter, got it almost done just needs to be a little longer.
Otherwise not much else.
Went shopping, then to the bank for a long time waiting. There's like two people that can do the IRA and it's either they are doing nothing, or have some incredibly complex thing they're doing that takes forever.
Saw my parents.
Came home for game. We closed the portal and headed to the place where the next portal is.

We get to fight a rock monster that is also the Sphinx?

Sat:
Cleaned the house up. I must have mice, why are cats not catching them?
Took care of some paperwork.
Checked sites.
Made some changes for Ellen's site.
Watched an episode of Supergirl and ate lunch.
Added some content to that chapter, so I'm ready to start the next one as this one is now long enough.
Sean came up with "rules" for the new emberhaven campaign and of course my character broke almost all of them because that's what I do! I mean really, our starting stills are already limited to an 8, but he's knocked it down to a 6. So I modified it. My skill for spellcasting went down by 2, I gained two new planets, and gained 6 new spells. So did this make me more or less powerful? You decide. I had to lose only one grade 7 spell, thankfully I don't usually bother with higher grade spells but I really wanted that horse ally. The "minor" version of the spell is a lower grade, but isn't big enough. So I took a "grow" spell and gave it to him, so he can't attack anymore but that's fine. I can still hide behind/ride him.
Parents come for the movie.
Started Wheel of Time.

Sun:
Checked sites, finished the changes for Ellen. She had left me this rambling message I couldn't understand half of so I made the changes I thought were right but didn't upload them. I emailed her and asked if they were right.
Finished Wheel of Time. There were some changes from the books, I mean obviously they can't put every little detail in it would be 5 seaons by itself, but overall it was good.
Cleaned up my downloads folder, there is still a distressing large number of things in there to watch.
Got ready for tomorrow.
Someone called twice today but didn't leave a message. Odd.
Called the lady I just got the laptop for. Didn't answer. Guess I'll try her tomorrow.

Mon:
Not much to speak of at work today. Nothing new in, perhaps tomorrow though according to the schedule. Just the last build of what I've already tested before, so it should be no big deal.

Did the next chapter, and wrote out an outline for the rest of the content. It'll be a short book apparently, unless I can think of something else.

Came back here, power had been lost only a moment before, all my UPS units were beeping. The analog clock had stopped at 4:00. Odd, that I had power when so many didn't during the day but didn't when I got home. It had been pretty windy yesterday. Lots of sticks down.

Picked up a few, but it was really raining out. Did a few non-electric things and then sat in bed with a flashlight reading. Power came back on at 7:00. Thanks, RG&E! Appreciate it.

Checked sites, and then went to bed for real.

Tues:
Apple event! Got a new mac model, the mac mini tall, with two processors shoved together into one giant processor. Gimme. Oh, and nothing came in work wise so no new work to do.

Wrote up the next chapter though. Now how to find one person in all of Greece?

Came back here. Checked sites, ate dinner.

Tried to order the plastic wheel to see if replacing it would solve my snow blower issue. It's out of stock. Everywhere. snowjoe, amazon, none on ebay, nothing. What the heck? We can't make enough small plastic wheels? Really? Am I supposed to just junk the whole thing then? This sucks.

Two calls, reached the lady with the laptop, got her straight I hope. Took 50 minutes.

Then called and ordered a battery for a guy. It's internal, please PC makers don't be Apple. If you're going to be Apple make a good product. So I get to tear it apart to replace the battery. Neat.

Used up my nora credit, as it goes away in a few days, in warframe. No Sean, must be working.

Wed:
Got the D4.0 final release so loaded that up on two machines to test. Realized the reason the one machine took forever to load was it was on a 10mb/sec switch. Not 10/100. No. Simply 10. I looked around for a power supply for another one, didn't find it, but did get another hub I had laying around working. Replaced two yucky 10 hubs with one 10/100 hub. It's a little better.

Got the testing done, no issues.

Then worked on the next chapter. Figured out how I'm going to find this guy. Sean might not have allowed the spell to work this way, but I really have no other way to go so I'm doing it.

Came back here, we must have lost power again. Only about 20 minutes, as my clock (the one analog clock I have) was that far behind. Everything else was flashing away. Had one call. A "hacked" email, so we'll see what that's about later. Then another woman called me, who didn't know her own number. But she called back with it.

Checked sites, ate dinner, worked a little on the chapter and got to the part where the guy jumped out the window.
Made my calls. The one lady has a mac and her business email is apparently managed by some random dude that was a friend of somebody or some crap? Don't know. Anyway, something was going on she said people had been emailed from her account but without knowing who your email is hosted by, not much I can do to change your password. I said to call this dude. And take control of your own email, maybe? It's a Mac, so we ran a quick mbam scan and that was that.

The other lady has lost internet, I'm going over there tomorrow.

Watched some Macross. Hey, it's in the list. I've never seen the Japanese version just the US dub and that was when I was a kid.

Thurs:
Another fine meeting day has come and gone. Did all the meetings.

No new testing to do, got it done yesterday. Wrote the next chapter. One more chapter to go, that should finish it. Apart from the proof read of course and I want to maybe expand the chapters a little if I can. But if not, that's okay too.

Went to see internet lady. Rebooted the router but did I even have to? She said she had done it, but she was online just fine so... figure that out. Hadn't been there in years, she still had VNC as my remote assistance. Took that old crap off, gave her the new crap.

Back here, checked sites, ate dinner. Three calls, but the third was canceling the second so it turned out to be just one. Linda lane, it's near here. I was just there too. What did she do?

Got ready for tomorrow. No bank, but I do need food for the mouse. So I'll go get that, and do the shopping, and see my parents.

Looking further down I'll do the Miracle game, with the giant stone thing we have to fight?

Then Saturday making characters for the new pyre game. Well, the others will, if I play the spellweaver I'm all set.
I can help the others optimize though.

Then Sunday something at my sister's house. Playing with Denim, that's it. That's the reason.

Made the call. I just had her reboot, I suspected her "turning it off" is putting it to sleep or something. She said it was fine, so it seems I'm off the hook for going anywhere Saturday. Nice.

Worked on the last chapter. Finished it up. Now I get to revise it.
