2021-05-06:

Fri:
No real surprises. Made the test plan for the new scan enhancement. Oddly, my machine that I've loaded for the voice system seems really messed up.
Just the native scan didn't work very well. But I tested it on another machine and it's fine, so figure that one out. Like it wouldn't load the whole window, so it was stuck not able to do anything. And going back when it did load the whole window brought up the "do you want to close" confirmation but it was invisible. You could touch the screen in the right place and it would react, but you couldn't see it. So great.
I'll do a single card test on D5.4 Monday, as well as making sure a file uploaded with spaces where they shouldn't be generates an error, as I didn't have the gumption to do it today.
I did finally get to the point in the dragon warrior story of meeting the princess. Didn't go very well for our hero. Wonder what he'll do now? He needs that token!
Got a few things at the store, got gas (it's up $0.50 or so!!!) and saw my parents. They brought a lot of stuff back. Mom had to hang off the back bumper on a skateboard the whole way home because her seat was full of stuff. I kid! I kid the mom! Dad actually strapped her to the top of the van. Kidding again! Just kidding!
Came back here, did game. Oddly still didn't make it through the boss fight. They only just got to it. Sheesh. My litte "this will keep them occupied for an hour and then we'll have the big combat the rest of the night" turned into a three parter. Weird.

Sat:
Cleaning up, as my parents are coming over.
3D printed the whole thing, now I just have to assemble it. Clean it up if I can, and I'll probably paint it white. Given I, uh, broke part of it and had to glue it back on. Whoops. It seems fine, but that will have to be covered up, now won't it.
Did some warframe. Got enough of one resource to make the good sword, and leveled up my "amp" so I can start working on a better one. I don't think I actually had to do that, there seems to be no requirement for it, but better to do it, I 'aint going back to this one once I have a better one, that's for sure.
Watched videos, checked sites.

Then my parents came, we watched Chiti-Chiti-Bang-Bang and then I did more warframe.

Sun:
Picked up my warframe stuff and finally started building Octavia. Three days later it should be done.
Worked on the gift, glued the tiny pieces on, coming along fine. Didn't paint it, I wanted the glue to have the full 24 hours to dy.
Watched videos, checked daily sites.
Finished the let's play of Myst 3 and have moved on to Myst 4. Got ready for back to reality tomorrow, and then did some warframe. Still can't get the last Khora part I need, gurr. Someone was actually using her in the grind we were doing which was ironic. Give me those parts!!!
With Sean's gift getting done I looked into what to make Mizzy. I have a few good ideas, we'll see which one I decide on.
Actually a plush would be possible, wouldn't it? Hummmmmm.

Mon:
As I said before, I upgraded the D5.4 machine to the right build and tried the card test. I can now sign and encrypt email where I couldn't before using this specific type of card, so test passed. Only took 16 months.
Then I upgraded 3 other machines to do the whitespace test. No problems there.
And that was the work for today. Didn't get the latest D5.4 I was expecting from the dates on the schedule so maybe it's been delayed? In any case, could not work on what I did not have.
Did finish the next chapter. Our hero found the poem that may lead to the token being found, because he didn't want to tell the rescued princess he loved her. Wonder why? It's not like they just met or anything.

Came back here, painted the gift so it at least can take more colors if someone more skilled wants to paint it.
Watched videos and checked sites.
Got ready for tomorrow. Then did warframe. Got the two Khora parts I already had, and did not get the part I needed! Thanks, RNG!

Tues:
Could have done work today, we got the latest build of D5.4, but I need the onedrive app put on the machine. (As does Christina) but it didn't get done.
Helped Adnan with an LPR thing, trying to send a file to a different port to bypass a RIP. It worked but it's really tedious if you have 3,000 machines to upgrade. I don't see any way around it though.
Otherwise worked on the game a little and came up with a new MonsterUS character than I promptly said "wait, I have an even better idea!" and tossed them. Ha!

Oh, remember last week when I was going to go to farm lady today? She texted (again) and now she's not feeling well. So she pushed it out another week. Fine with me. I went home.
Checked sites, watched videos, ate dinner. Did warframe eventually, we got the part we needed, but seconds after the stage ended. So while it showed us that we got the part, we actually didn't. Thanks! But then we ran it again and for real got the part this time. So it was okay. Started building the part.

Wed:
Did some work today as the onedrive stuff got installed onto the machine. No problems, got it done as well as the card list stuff I also had to test.
Also looked into some sort of IPP tool for Kevin, but he said I got the data he wanted so he was happy.
Still no news on the voice system stuff, how long has it been since we started that whole project? Oh right about 17 months.

Worked on my troll character, as my "Jesse" character got shot down. I would have been far more invested in her and she could have driven the plot but I guess you take what you can get.

Came home, had two calls for once! Wow, haven't had that in a few weeks. One I scheduled for tomorrow, she has two identical printers in two places (one in each place I mean) and can't get this one to work.
The other person's issue I solved with a reboot. I'm just that good.

Worked on the adventure for Friday, getting Sebastian's powers ready and what grenades do and such. Then hopefully I can spend less time looking things up during game. I'll make sure it's all set tomorrow but I think it is.

Got ready for tomorrow. Did some warframe.

Thurs:
Meeting day so we had meetings. As I've basically finished everything for the moment I worked on my character a little more and worked on the next chapter. Watered the plants.

Oh, plants reminds me. Looks like all my little trees in the back survived the winter, they all have tiny leaves on them so they should be nice and leafy in a few weeks.

More people are coming back to the building. Parking lot is getting pretty full again.

Went to see the printer lady, her printer wasn't connected to the wi-fi, which by the way was terrible. .91Mb/sec, which of course will mess anything up. We moved the extender a bit, and that seemed to help? Odd. What is that place made of? Anyway she had a few more questions but nothing that took me all that long.

Came back, sites, dinner, getting ready for tomorrow.

No calls, so the rest of the night I'll look over everything for the fight tomorrow, and maybe for the next adventure in case they just snap their fingers and win. Check my warframe, see if I can get that one piece I need.

Then looking further out tomorrow probably not much work wise but I'll get groceries, won't need gas, but I'll see my parents. Then do game.

Saturday no work as of yet, I'll probably replant the catnip that lived, and take care of the ones that didn't. Probably crush it up to put it inside something, with how funny it looked I don't know if I want them eating it. Take care of the yard, it'll need it. I'll have to pick up sticks, probably mow so I'll put the snowblower away and get out the mower. Then do the monster game.

Sunday I'll go out to see my mother for mother's day and go to the flea market. Haven't been there for two years!

So that's it for now. I won't upload in case I think of something else. Oh, like the bug I found. Wandering around my desk was a tiny, baby, fuzzy caterpillar. How did it get inside? How did it get on my desk? I put it in a cup and brought it outside, to the lawn part where we used to go "on break" when I was with the tablet folks. Hope you make it little one! It was so tiny!
