Fri:
Spent the day getting 25% of the way though the reliability test. Yay! Only 3 more days of that to go. So boring.
Did write up one or two things, like the paper being drawn from the bypass tray when really it shouldn't, and something else.. It'll come to me.
Wrote up the little rhymie words for Sean's q&a for the character and got 2xp for it. So I'm ready for tonight.
It's on, just, uh, at a later time.
Did the usual stuff after work, no trouble there. Actually got the gas gauge to full, it hasn't been full for some time. Receipt still says saving .03 but actually saving .06. Odd.
Put stuff away, watched videos, ate dinner, and left for Sean's.
Stayed on track, but it was a different track, the track of the disaster strikes. That took the entire adventure, which was fine.
Sat:
Fairly busy. While texting my mother to see if she and my father would come for movie night she texted me, so that worked out fine.
Cleaned up. Brought the plants down, put more dirt in one of the pots.
Planted my tiny seeds, I need far more egg containers to plant them all.
Played some Chrono, ate lunch, and left for my 1:00. He had just turned off iCloud desktop and documents, basically, so hitting the checkbox brought his stuff back. I did have to change his password though, he didn't know it. Or his security questions, like what street he grew up on or what car he first had??
Got back here, looked spells over for a bit.
Had a short nap with a kitten, then played Chrono.
My parents arrived and we watched the last of the first batch of movies or wait is this the second batch? Anyway, on to the third. Then I watched a movie and went to bed.
Sun:
Started the day picking up the sticks in the backyard. Got it done before the rain started, and got a whole cartful. Anyone want a whole cartful of sticks?
Checked my sites, ate lunch, and played Chrono about the rest of the day. Got pretty far, I got Surge's body back, and started getting everyone's level 7 techniques. There's a lot of them to get.
Made my calls, only 2, one password issue so as they had frontier they had to call, as frontier doesn't offer the same sort of online tool Spectrum does. And a person with a loose cable.
So nothing for tomorrow but more reliability. Yay.
Mon:
I was right! Got another 25% done with the test, and wrote 3/3 bugs today. Joe wrote another one, sorta, it was a duplicate of something that was already marked fixed for the build two days from now. So I don't really count it.
Otherwise totally boring, and totally quiet. Seems kids are off school, and the lab was super quiet. Chris is out on vacation, he doesn't have kids. But it seems like a lot of people are gone.
Came back, ate dinner, checked sites, and started forging that sweet, sweet rainbow equipment. I had enough money to make, uh, two suits of armor. Sigh, now it's time to go cash hunting, and where do you do that in Chrono? I thought I was really loaded. Not so much.
Tues:
Exactly as expected today, getting another 25% through the reliability test. And certainly not finishing up chapter 11.
Wrote a bug about the entire printer rebooting just from submitting a job, that's a nice one.
Nothing else major though, just stuff I've seen before. *sadface*
Tomorrow will be the new build, so back to bugs so I probably won't finish, that will be Thursday Robert's task.
Came back here, inched ever closer to winning Chrono. But I'm not there yet. Sigh.
No calls, so hopefully tomorrow I can get back here and finish that up. Boom. Not doing everything, like getting Janice this time. There's new game+ for that in a couple of years when I want to play it again. 45+ hours is enough Chrono for me for now.
Wed:
It was quite the foggy day today when I got up. Apparently some people have never seen fog before, the guy that passed me as I was waiting to turn out of my driveway had one hand on the wheel and one hand holding his phone up, obviously recording the experience. Of fog. Really. I suppose if you want to risk your life getting your phone out and getting the photo app open and holding it up while driving more power to you. But you had kids in the car, make them do it. And stay away from my house I don’t want your car through my front window.
Anyway, made it to work despite the fog, which cleared off quite rapidly as I drove.
It went pretty much as I expected, got installing the new version out of the way, then did some verification of old bugs, and then tore the new version apart finding all sorts of new and exciting bugs. Yes! I did this. The payment portion has become "localized" though it's all sorts of screwed up, so I wrote I think nine bugs today? A good crop if I do say so myself.
Still very quiet around there, by the time Christina left at 3:00, there was only one other person besides myself in the lab.
Back to the rest of the reliability test tomorrow, and of course the endless meetings, as Gina is back.
Came back here, won Chrono as I expected. Not going to do the new game+ content for now, maybe in a few years. Chronoed out for now. Started Warcraft 3, well, the last part, I've been itching to do the last battle since I read the last battle in WoT. Looks like Blizzard is giving it the HD treatment pretty soon, and for only $30. I'm… tempted.
No calls still, so nothing for it but to come back here tomorrow.
Checked sites and did the usual getting ready for bed as well.
Thurs:
Got the reliability test done, and had the usual meetings. Was there anything of note?
Not really. We ran out of time because Gina had another meeting at 10:00, and then some two hour meeting later in the day she was really, really looking forward to. Like a lot.
Then we moved the 2:30 meeting to 2:00, but it still only took a half hour.
Wrote only two bugs today but I have some I’ll write up tomorrow. It was pretty funny, I got an email “Here’s the feedback on the Admin VBS (all from Robert) and the actions we agreed to today.” Does no one else do their jobs around here? Honestly. But I got a few “yup, that’s a bug” style actions so I’ll have plenty to write up tomorrow. Pacing myself, and all that, you know. It’s not laziness.
I mean I need something to do tomorrow, don’t I?
Warm out, “warm” I should say, almost 70 but didn’t quite make it.
Lots of people are taking tomorrow off, what is it a holiday or something? Obviously not, the company hasn’t given us off, so get to work!
Came back here, checked sites and watched videos. A way to use a VM to run OS X on generic PC hardware easier than a hackintosh? Interesting… but many steps.
Figured out some things for chapter 12, and had to make some changes to the rules. So put those in though it's still a combat so I'll need some time to write it.
Got ready for tomorrow, no calls again which is weird, but I did have a guy email me so I emailed him back. Maybe a bit of Warcraft in a moment.
Let's look to the future, as usual. Tomorrow writing up bugs in the morning from the VBS review (that I did).
Then, uh, ??? not writing.
Shopping, not going to the bank though I do have two checks somehow.
Getting gas, and seeing my parents. Then going to see Sean and finish up the mission from last week.
Saturday I want to make a pie, I still have berries left. Otherwise writing chapter 12 to get the combat resolved, maybe having my parents over but they may be getting ready for easter so who knows. I'll invite them.
Then Sunday is bunny day, and I don't mean a day at the bunny ranch, I mean zombie Jesus day. Pack your chainsaw and don't shoot the cars, it might attract the zombies.
Seems like that's the week. We're halfway through April so keep it up.
See you next week.
