And the machine I tried to leave on 24 hours to see if the network time thing was working? Nope, it was dead when I got in. Sigh. Rebuilt it.

Verified some bugs were fixed, I'm up to 90 total in 4 months, that's 18/month. Not bad, not bad.

Left at 1:00 to get my trays installed. They feel a bit weird but they don't really hurt.

Then did the shopping, went to the bank, and had dinner with my parents. Yummy stuff Heather made. Thanks!

Then out to Sean's. The others were double late, but we finally got started. Stayed on task fairly well, and I got more powers, yay. (My "race" changed a bit)

And I almost got eaten by a giant worm, so there was that.

Sat:
Adjusting to trays, didn't even really feel them when I woke up. After I took them out and put them back I started to again. Weird. No pain yet.

Had a few calls yesterday, but I'm waiting for someone to call so I can bring their PC back, so I'll call them in the afternoon. Took care of everything from last night, figuring out how my character changed.

Worked on the spell list for Luna, so I know what spells she might have access to.

Then went out to deliver the PC. Went fine.

Came back, made my calls. Spent an hour on the phone with the first lady updating flash, java, one drive, and ccleaner. Yes, an hour. I could have driven there, done the work, and come back here faster.

Then 20 minutes getting someone to connect me, and clicking a triangle next to their inbox to show their folders list. Yes, that's what I've been reduced to.

But got worse! Yes, yes it did. 40 minutes of Ellen moving her 10,000 inbox entries into folders like she's supposed to be doing to get around the 2GB inbox limit on outlook express. Why do you let it get that bad? We've been over and over it that you need to erase emails and not let it get that far. I mean are you really going to go back over 10,000 emails (from mid 2015-to today) to find something? Half of them we're unread to begin with. Why?

Worked on Chapter 255 and watched the movie Sean gave me. It was pretty good. Arrival. Very well done.

Sun:
Bunch of writing today, finished chapter 255. Should have moved on to chapter 256 but I was weak. I watched more Kora.

Did my 11:00. Not getting online, and yeah, that was it. Driver issue, maybe? It wouldn't connect to the router. I finally carried the thing downstairs and plugged it in. It found a driver… one that was 2 years older? Huh? It seemed to work! I carried it back upstairs, victorious!

Nope. It didn't work.

I went out to the car to get a USB one because by that time I hated the machine and windows in general (it had been over an hour). When I got back, it was working! On it's own? I rebooted, and apparently if you let it sit a few minutes, it's fine? Have I mentioned my hatred of windows lately?

Getting used to the tray. In and out, in and out. Only another 18 months to… wait it's only been two days?

Mon:
Quite busy at work today. Looked over bugs I had written to verify them, did a bunch of long tests I had sort of been putting off, and sort of waiting for the log clear function to actually work before I started.

Crap, I forget to turn all my machines off before I left. I bet at least one isn't going to make it through the night. Shoot, I'm a moron.

Naturally, being the first day with my trays at work Senpai decided to bring lamb, cake, and sauerkraut in. Dude, I can't eat between meals anymore!

AARG.

After work I went over to see the guy down the street, and his machine was acting fine. I poked around a bit. It was fine.

Came back, watched the last Korra, ate dinner. No phone calls. Did more Bleach research to get Luna in there and telling her story.

Started Chapter 256. Luna away!

Tues:
Quite busy at work today for some reason. We found out why the text file I was sending with CWW wasn't working. It was the wrong file! I mean I gave it the right file, but then it sent the wrong one. An old one, for another printer entirely. Weird right?

Uh, let's see. Testing a patch, noticed one area was case sensitive, loaded machines, remembered to turn them all off tonight. Hey, and they all survived the night! Hopefully the fix for that will be in and I can start leaving them on. I'll probably load all the spare machines in the lab with the software so I can test a bunch of them.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting a cold. Sigh.
Corollary: I hate everything.

Still pretty warm out, it was raining on the way home.

After work job was setting up a laptop. I did so. Took his crappy XP machine home to tear apart and put where it belongs. (in a junkyard)

Came back, ate dinner, made some phone calls. Good old Dentist guy has a new tablet he wants set up or something. Not really a computer or something broken, but whatever.

Checked my sites. I made Luna during a quiet moment but forget to put her on dropbox. So I can't give her the spells and such and continue her story. Oh well. I put point values on all her spells so I know how many she has and their relative difficulty compared to each other.

Wed:
Pretty busy today too, but far overshadowed by the fact I was blowing my nose all day. Like, a lot. Too much. I'll put too much out there as the amount that I was blowing my nose.

Got all the printers loaded with the latest software because the developer says the kernel panic issue is solved. So I want to be sure. One of the "new" machines is just rebooting over and over and it printed about 30 config sheets before I took the tray out. Stupid thing.

No meeting, but got some things done.

After work was stupid dentist guy. Sitting there for two hours doing his latest list of stuff. Basically going through and explaining what every single app did on his tablet. Setting up accounts. Resetting passwords. So fun.

Finally got back just in time to make phone calls. Yay. Have tomorrow booked, maybe I'll be a little more coherent then? Less blowy, as it were?

Ate dinner, checked my sites, and I'm going to bed!

Stupid everything.
Stupid virus guys. Why do they exist? They aren't even alive!

Thurs:
Getting better. Not to say I was completely over it or anything. I wasn't. Had to drag myself out of bed and was pretty tired all day today. Doing better now though. Still going to go to bed as early as possible.

Sadly, got a text that Saturday was off because Stan was apparently sick. Stupid tiny things inside us!

Worked with Chris trying to get that printer to stop rebooting over and over. I think we finally managed it. Did not figure out how to get it back into a default mode, which goes for the other one on the supplies plan. Looked at resetting NVM values but I'm no closer to an answer.

Went to my after work job. The old "two routers" trick so took one out. It was a canon printer with no control panel and the "manual" was useless. Finally reloaded the driver and that started the "get it online with a USB cable" wizard it worked after that. She was a talker. Talk talk talk talk talk. Lady, I don't care what kind of stripes were on the shirt that you bought your son. Really!

Came back here, ate dinner, checked my sites. A few calls, but only one of substance. I had her sign out of her laptop because she couldn't get out of something? And her date was way off on her desktop so that got fixed.

Talked a few other people through stuff. Looks like nothing yet for the weekend. Good, maybe I'll feel up to writing!

Usual plans for tomorrow, shopping, bank, visit parents. Hopefully not many calls and a quiet weekend.
