2015-05-14:
Fri:
First job was a sort of cleanout, but not the usual kind. His 20GB !! hard drive was full, gee wonder how that happened?
I doubled his storage by plugging a USB drive into the back and copying his music to that. (That was about 6GB of his space.) Also had to reload his video driver for some strange reason.
Came back here, ate lunch. Quite warm, like low 90s. Finally.
Then back out to give the systems back.
That went fine.
Over to see my parents, but my father was not to be found. My mother is doing well, no more leg brace but her surgery site hurts a bit. Dad came back just as I was about to leave, so I got to see him as well.
Forgot pie!
Gave her the gift.

And came back here to write chapter 123. Robot Big Fight! A rather spectacular battle, if I say so myself. 4,500 words to fit it all in. Maybe three chapters until ponies I think?
Sat:
Sort of a binge writing session today. I did chapters 124, 125, 126 and half of 127. Got into Ponyville and explained more about the reality behind Susan's adventures. Now to watch the 4th season of Ponies again and see what happened, and how Susan will change it. Also I wanted a certain villain but maybe that's too obvious. The Darkness should strike from the shadows, like it did before. I guess we'll see.
Sun:
More thinking about how I want the end to go, it should be pretty good.
Finished chapter 127 and 128.
Hardly any calls over the weekend. Two places to go, but only one real job for tomorrow.
Mon:
Some rain, and leaking, and such.
So I turned my dehumidifier on yesterday, and realized just as I was getting to sleep that I hadn't checked the leak. Last year it had no leak, and things were fine. But it had been running non-stop so I went down and checked it. Good thing I did. The pan was full and it was going all over the floor. Sigh.
Went shopping as normal, only deviation was buying some sealant for the bin and something hopefully I can use to patch up that crack in my driveway. I've tried all sorts of things, but the crack is still there. Perhaps this stuff will work.
Went out at 12:00 ish to my 12:30. Long time customer. Setting up a new laptop so that was pretty easy.
Also stopped at the bath place, he insists the outlook.com site has changed since last week. I showed him where the stuff was he was looking for.
Then back here. As I'm going to be incorporating Darkbolt stuff into the story, I decided to stick the "old" and "new" darkbolt files together for easy access. I got pretty far on that, just have to adjust the sample techniques to the new "level" system rather than whatever they were doing before. I say "old" and "new" because the "new" one is only partially complete, and will probably never be officially finished, and was last touched many years ago. So… yeah. Maybe my making the new file with the updated text will make Sean want to finally complete it? Oh well.
Couple of calls today, so I have a few places to go tomorrow.
Applied the calking, just waiting for it to dry now. Cure?
Yeah, that's about it.
Tues:
So far so good on the bucket. It's dry so far, but it's only been running a little while, so that we'll keep checking throughout the day.
Remember the lady from last week I helped until 9:30 or so? Sent me money! Didn't even ask. Allow me to express my appreciation.
Short one in the morning, he basically just had a toolbar installed and his firefox homepage changed. So that didn't take long.
Finally did my paperwork for last month. $30 more than two years ago for april, $300 less than last year. Huh.
Ate lunch, then out for a tuneup. His machine was hanging he said, and I wonder why? Oh, the heatsink was totally clogged up with dust? That'll do it. Oh, and his house stank of dog. Tiny barky dog too. Right after that just a checkup on a laptop. Ripped and burned a CD as he said he couldn't. Ran the various scans. No problems.
No calls today but one person that canceled right afterwords, and one place I went to at 7:30. Didn't get back until 9:00, they had messed up their DSL box, and couldn't get on the wireless, and all kinds of little things.
Got the drive replacement for the failed iPhoto drive, so that's good.
Finished up my modifications of the Darkbolt document. Now to perhaps add some new techniques (I added one already) and… uh, use it I guess.
Back to writing tomorrow. Dentist in the morning and then… nothing. Huh.
Wed:
As expected.
Went to the dentist, didn't see any problems.
Cut my grass because it was quite cool out, and the front really need it. In fact I only cut the front and the side.
Worked on Chapter 129 and 130. Oh yeah, it officially has more chapters than Harry Potter and the Magic of Paragon. With no end in sight. Yay!
Uh, no calls today either. What?
Worked a little on the darkbolt document, I realized there was no way for a character to actually play a miruku, it didn't cost points. It has to cost points. Should getting powers cost points? I suppose if everyone in the universe but humans gets powers, no.
Thurs:
Did a bit of writing, got about 2000 words into chapter 131. That's quite low, was finishing up the plan for the world, getting the middle part sorted out.
Then my character database crashed, so I was trying to figure out why. I finally did, and compiled it with the new version at long last.
Went over to see the guy I did the blog entries for, that killed two hours, grr.
Fixed a few more bugs in the creator, yay.
And finished chapter 131. Sweetie Belle got to help Susan out (or the other way around) and they can still have a few adventures together until the mane6 return.
Have some places to go tomorrow. Dropping of the replaced HD and the tiny switch I bought the bath place in the morning.
Then in the afternoon going to turn airplane mode off (tried for 15 minutes to get him to do it over the phone, sigh.) and then to my parent's house.
So yeah, no real paying jobs so… yeah.
No game either. Guess I'll just have fun by myself!
*singing* All by myself!
Nothing for Saturday, so this week is over.
Oh, and my heat was on this morning, so that was fun. Chilly out, but sunny.
Think that's it for this week. See you all next time.
