2012-09-27:

For the upcoming… *looks at calendar* Well, k-mart wasted no time, did they?

Know what feels good? Debt going away. Know what feels bad? Admitting to yourself that you probably have a cold, given you spent yesterday feeling weird and not sleeping well last night. I was much better today, but my immune system has let me down. My nose is once again flowing copiously, where most of the day I had that beat. Hates it. I apologize to all those I unintentionally infected. Also I have muscle aches. Me! I've never had muscle aches. I've had wrenched knees. My sister threw a suitcase at me and nearly blinded me in one eye (accident). But just achy feeling? And I'm not talking about my heart, my achy breaky heart. Is this what getting old is? No wonder everyone warns me away from it!

I did something this week I had never done before. However I remain confused as to what is in some people minds. I fear I can't  tell you what the thing is, suffice to say it might be one of those victories I wrote of last week. Or not. I guess time will show.

So, the work week. But before that, the game- or the lack of it. Friday got canceled because of a Sean not feeling well himself and the late hour at which we would have began. Saturday went fine though, with some very tasty food on the part of the Stan member of the food team. Would have again. Game went fine. Still loving that Pyre. Sean didn't realize I knew as much magic as I did. But now with my one attack spell I have offense, defense, utility and buffing magic. Loving it.

Finally got paid by the one hotel. $250 thank you very much. Went shopping monday, didn't need much, and I had already been to the bank Friday so that took little time. My 11:30 went to Tuesday, so I wanted until 1:30 to set up a new machine for a guy. Then on the way to my 6:00 in which I had told someone to type 192.168 typed instead 192.198 which was the root of his problem, I went to check out Mary's Mac, which she said was running fine. Hokay. 

Then Tuesday the one that canceled, the checkup at that one lawyers office. Didn't find much, but combofix found one thing. Then I had written 1:30 on the invoice for my next one, so I went over there, cursing that I didn't have my iPad with me, but content to save the time sitting there instead of driving around and only getting 20 minutes at home. She pulls in at 1:30 and says she thought her daughter said 4:00. I disagree, written here is 1:30. I change her RAM out and that's that. When I get home I check the calendar. The real time:

3:30. 

We were both wrong.

Wednesday was the busiest day by far. A 10:00 there was setting up a new machine. All these new machines, the economy must be doing fine! Then Rod, hooking his MacMini up to his TV, which took a little doing because I didn't know exactly what resolution it preferred. Then at 1:30 the long one, taking care of a bunch of things for her, but which I didn't finish. She wants all her deceased brother's recipes put on a CD to give away with a book she's making in his memory. Of course some are plain text files. Some are saved webpages. Some are openDocument format. Easiest solution: PDF.

So I worked on that both yesterday and today, and got them all converted. 

After that was 4:00, a regular cleanout. Vacuumed, etc. I had even one more at 5:30, who wanted me to call before I left. He asked if I "got his text" and I said, "You tried to text my home phone? You're gonna have a bad time."

Anyway, he canceled for Saturday at 11:00. 

Then at 9:30 I was over feeding the horde. Gave the fuzzy one a good petting, she's lonely in that little room all by herself. But she's a bad kitty, so… They were all fine, and I got cat hair all over me. Professional.

I went over to the mortgage place, something about a fan for a laptop? But the guy wasn't there nor could they reach him. Good thing it's just down the street. I'll try back tomorrow, but they were supposed to call me when he came in with the model number, so I could know if it's even something I want to try and do. 

Didn't.

Then at 1:00 I staggered over to answer some questions for a guy. 

Then I sat here and tried to rest. 

Couple of calls, and getting the laptop with the PDF files back in store tomorrow. Also an early bedtime tonight too. Perhaps I'll get more then 3 hours continuous sleep tonight? We can hope.

The canceled one for Saturday, and game, which I may or may not do remotely. Sean wants help taking his pool ladder up. 

Got a Pony calendar from Mom. I can't decide if the calendar Sean made me one year or this one is better. It's ponies man! Ponies! Where's my season 3, darn it!

Good Dr Who, best episode (of the three) for this season so far. 

Leaves are just starting to turn. DON'T LEAVE ME BEAUTIFUL GREEN!

The heat engine is performing very well. 50 degree rise in temperature from the outside. We'll see how it goes when the sun is lower and there's no leaves on the tree. You can tell it's colder out, I own a lap cat again. Funny how he switches back and forth, I should chart the progress see if there's some kind of pattern to his behavior. 

Mom and Dad both got new cell phones. Not iPhones for some bizarre reason. Didn't even ask me, just announced it. That didn't take long.

I guess those are my thoughts for this week. Almost October, so I hope you all have your costume ideas ready. I think I'll go as a computer repair guy. Why change what works, right? 

Now I'll just keep softly blowing my nose and petting my kitty. And hating everything.

And my kitty left me. All I have left now is blowing and hate.
