It's pretty important, I guess. See, my heat engine outside has been blowing cold air into my house rather then the comfy warm air I would prefer. It's been quite nice up until now, so I haven't cared that much. But with it getting colder now, I thought I should look into it. I checked for leaks, put more tape on the pipe adapter, nothing. Then I remembered that I had moved the solar panel slightly to get just that little bit more sun. So I put one piece of duct tape over the top cells and the fan slowed down just a touch. Enough that it started blowing hot air again. Weird. I guess it made a difference, for some reason.

 

Did the shopping this morning, no problems there. Then the cleaning I neglected yesterday, yay bachelorhood? Sigh. Out to a job near another job which took almost too long. He was saying his internet was slow, but I just unplugged his router. I ran all my tools but still couldn't get to bleepingcomputer.com to download combofix so I thought sure there was something still wrong. I booted into linux to poke around and the site didn't come up there, either. I guess it was down, which I just verified because there was a new item on the homepage about it. Huh.

 

Which reminds me, I need to update my home page, put all the new projects and stories I'm working on up there.

 

Anyway, over to the second one, I realize I've left the cell phone charging in my kitchen, and she wanted me to call her when I arrived. Sigh. So I get into the building but the phone number I have is wrong, so the person I speak to is not the person I think it is. But we finally figure out I've got the 52 wrong, it should be 25 so I manage to call and get her. Why didn't she pick up the phone when I dialed it from the vestibule, I obviously had the right person. GURRR.

 

Then over to Mom and Dad's house to see about her laptop not finding the one downstairs. I get that hooked back up and take the crappy dell my father got from me from someone else, I guess it's blue screening, hurray.

 

Some calls tonight, so I have three tomorrow.

 

Let's see, what else did I do today? Present wrapping, so that's done for the moment. Made another Demongate High teacher. Watched a Buffy episode (or two).

 

Just loving this winter so far. There's rain, actually RAIN forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, with 50 degree temperatures on Thursday? In mid-december no less? I'm happy with that.
