2011-10-13:
Got an unexpected call to play Boarderlands last night so I didn't get a chance to write anything. Would have been just more of the same anyway.
Of course, so will today. Floyd as the first one, who really didn't have any problems that I could see. But I did show him a few things, and took his old hard drive with me to transfer to a flash drive.
Had a delivery by the time I got back, which was nice, it contained a HD I needed, so I sat and reloaded an XP machine so that can go back tomorrow. Ate lunch.
Replaced a power supply next, which got the machine booting again, but it seems to still not be working right, she called me back later. So I guess she's getting a new machine and I'll buy that back from her. Oh well. Someone showed up, I guess a nurse or something, and of course the two little yippy dogs ran over she was all "oh, what breed are they?" "How old are they?" etc. etc. and I was like "who cares? Why are you asking all these stupid-" and then it hit me, because this person had a higher PER then I did, and that's what people with normal PER do. I guess. Ask stupid questions of each other that have no bearing on anything. Amazes me, really. I just can't bring myself to do it. Guess there's just something wrong with the old brain box. At least it's bigger on the inside, so I've got that going for me.
Then to york, maybe sort of solved a problem they really didn't have or something? Sorta? Hard to tell with that place. Still didn't make any money…
Then home for a little while, then out to Penfield Road at 5:30, someone putting up with sprint G3 service for their laptop. She was getting on, but her browsers wouldn't load anything. Weird. I messed with the settings of the little app that connected her, and that seemed to do it.
Over to Sean's tomorrow, give him some birthday gifts or something, because I guess it's his birthday or whatnot. Hopefully to finish the Demongate High adventure with the final battle. Bye Carlita and Ewen and Albert and evil/not evil Rosalee I'll miss you.
Good amount of work for tomorrow too. Wonder if Grandma will be awake when I go over there?
Then Saturday, one job and then hopefully getting some of the bigger pieces of wood to the dumpster as well as the rest of the walls in the back area.
And finally to take it easy Sunday.
